For my 18th birthday I decided to have a party, I invited two of my closest friends who both knew how long I had been looking forward to my 18th, especially since I never truly had proper birthday celebrations throughout my child/teen years. I drank almost three bottles of alcohol to myself that day/night. Don't know if that's sad or impressive.

I can heavily relate. On my 18th I wanted to go to some really cool wolf enclosures, and all 5 of my friends dipped to hang with each other. Did almost the same thing

Back when I was 12 I decided to have a party with the 47 ppl in my class, I wasn't very talkative and didn't have a way to communicate with them so 1 month before the party I printed 47 invitations and gave everyone 1 on our annual field trip.
That Day, 2 ppl came, my best friend and the only one who would talk to me + lives a walk away ddint show even when I called her. I was so embarrassed i didn't try to celebrate or tell anyone about my birthday for the next 6 years, I could tell my parents were uncomfortable too.
This story does have a happy ending though! On my 18th I decided to try again with 16 ppl in total in class. You would not believe my relief and happiness when all of them showed up.

no cause I invited my 2 best friends for a sleepover for my birthday and one showed up but the other one ghosted me and didn’t show up, and after my one friend left I cried so much. we’re still friends and she’s really nice but like that hurt a lot

All of my birthdays when I was little no one came. I cried in my room. My dad even forgot my birthday once.

My birthday is a little under 2 months away and I hope the few people I invite show up. I don't have many friends,I mostly talk to my girlfriend. I get left out a lot which I'm used to but still, I hope they show up
when i was 5 i had my birthday at Chuck E Cheese and my mom invited over 30 kids all that i knew and only my 4 closest friends showed up
My friends leave me out of everything for example today they had a big photoshoot with everyone, even the people they don't like but not me, I honestly resided in not giving a fu!ck, at this point there is no point. They leave me out of everything, hangouts, movies, party's. Just the other week I threw this party and only my separated sister (Separated at birth) came to surprise me. I remember when the school year ended they gave us a book with all the pictures we had taken at school, and at the end of it, there where countless pages of so many pictures that the parents gave to the teachers to put there, they were pictures from birthday parties and things like that, and i was in none of them .. literally none.. and they all acted like nothing had happened, i never knew about all of these, thank god i am not friends with any of them, unfortunately we are in the same class tho..they had done so many bad things to me.. and they were all just toxic.. but i always forgave them 🥺🙄

This is why after my fifth birthday party. I never held birthday parties ever again...
That's why I don't have any friends. I used to have a few, and when I was a kid and a teenager, I tried to throw parties, but only one person came the first time, and the second time. My friends would not even congratulate me on the phone, although I always congratulate them and came to their parties. Over time, I realised that none of them needed me, so I have no friends now. Think about it, if your friends ignore you year after year, maybe they are not your friends? My advice to you is not to waste any time with them, they are just useless.

i can sadly relate to this song, so it was my 9th or 10th birthday (cant remember) and i had invited like 20 of my friends and NONE of them came the only ppl that came were my big sister and her boyfriend and i was crying like crazy that night, so uhh yeah

Lembro de um dia que eu estava fazendo 8 ou meus 9 anos de idade, isso aconteceu lá na casa dos meus avós... todo mundo convidou os vizinhos, ligaram pros parentes para virem pro meu níver, isso porque eu disse que queria uma festa bem grande, mas bem cheia mesmo, cheia de balões, doces, salgados, um bolo enorme... e assim fizeram, mas aí no dia nós tínhamos marcado para sla... bem de tardinha mesmo, até que passou 16h, 16h30min... só foi umas 17h da tarde que o pessoal foi, bom... mas pelo menos eles foram, porque eu já estava perdendo a esperança e mano... FOI A MELHOR FESTA DA MINHA VIDAAAAA!!!!! Eu já estava achando que ninguém se importava comigo ent eu pensei em desistir, mas eu fiquei esperando mais e mais, e do nada surgiu até gente que eu nem tinha convidado 😂😂😂😂😂 as pessoas que eu nem tinha chamado pra festa estavam passeando pela rua e viram a minha festa e decidiram entrar tbm 😂😂😂😂😂 mas eu nem liguei eu só queria que todo mundo se divertisse!!!! Ah..... saudades
