Me: goes to brush teeth. Ends up as stealth archer.
You know, despite all these stealth archer memes, I usually end up playing a two handed barbarian no matter what I try.
@@D_3_3 I'm all about the Combined Arms approach. Mostly the Nord Warrior type, but it is good to soften up an opponent with a sneaky pre-assault artillery bombardment (sneak attack from bow). And what's better to use against a Frost Troll than a fire spell? :-)

My favorite Skyrim moment: NPC says “If I am destined to be killed by a dragon, than why worry about it now.” *dragon immediately spawns*

Most immersive mod: "EpicNate Deaths"
"All NPCs and humanoid enemies shout 'Oh no! I've been murdered to death!' upon being killed"

30 seconds into the first mission: Well guess I'll be playing as a stealth archer again!
I normally play as a melee warrior (for 6 years now) using two handed weapons, and more recently tried the stealth archer build. I must say the warrior takes a bit of work leveling and developing, but I still like it the best. Don't be impatient, the power of the warrior is worth the wait!

Thanks for this, never knew about the build your noble house mod. Downloading it now!
So Nate real question, with the train wreck that is Fallout 76, are you at all worried about the elder scrolls 6?
COOKIE WOKE definitely at least a little. But there’s probably another few years + another game release, so there’s a lot to wait for.

@@cookiewoke1899 You have to think positive about ES. Skyrim on back wasn't perfect no game is but it gave us some of the best open world/rpg gameplay of the time. F76 isn't a real game tbh, it's just something to keep us busy while the A Team big boys work on Starfield, ES6 and so on. I have faith ES6 will outshine it's predecessors including Skyrim and Oblivion.
Yess! I always end up focusing on Restoration, so I would love to see it given an overhaul that doesn’t just ‘give it more’ but also make it more strategic and satisfying to use. One gripe is that its attacks have no effect on living beings, I’m not expecting HP depletion or anything but some debuffs would seem reasonable to me. 🤷♂️
Dude your videos are addictive. If I start watching one I can't stop at least until I watch more 7 of them in a row.
Really enjoying the slight upgrade of quality keep it up nate!
Damn I didn't know the diverse dragons looked so unique and aesthetic all this time. I just thought they had different shouts and stuff. Well cool! Thanks Nate! I'll try a few of these out! I have been playing with Arcanum in my load order recently and it goes really well with my sacrosanct vampire build. The spells are just downright *_incredible_*
I've been doing this thing where I just download every mod in whichever one of your videos I've come across and I have yet to have a bad experience.
Keep up the great work!
Nate! Your mod videos are awesome as ever! Maybe you should showcase your own personal load order sometime because your Skyrim looks AMAZING!
Can’t wait to add more texture mods to my ps4
I started on PS4. Didn’t like the granny panties my Dragonborn always wore. Now she has way better underwear and even a lot of female faces in the game look better with the Seraphim Female Body Replacer. Combined that with a Seranaholic mod & now Serana is wow
Nate, since you said you rebuilt your load order from the ground up, any chance we can get a list? I really like the way your Tamriel looks. Thanks!

Legacy of the Dragonborn. That one mod alone has kept me playing that game for more than 2000 hours.
Personally, I kinda dislike LotD. It's not roleplay friendly at all (unless you, specifically, want to roleplay an archaeologist/museum worker)

Playing Skyrim without mods
If you have it on a console that can't do them, for instance... Like my Xbox 360. That's one reason I want a modern laptop. Those should easily be able to handle both NMM and a game from 2011, don't you think? :-)
I have a bigger joke for you- What is an impossibility in gaming? A bug free Bethesda game!
I do, because I find it difficult to find lore friendly/immersive mods. Because wading through skimpy and sexual mods is tiring.
Awesome video! I literally went and downloaded all of these so thank you!
I really like the little information squares you put in
My friend, seeing me play Skyrim again with new mods: "Skyrim? After all this time?"

My friend: **reinstalls skyrim**
nate could you release a list of the mods you use in a more "standard" playthrough for you? like the mods you normally use as well as maybe a recommended list for a new playthrough?
Excellent mod review. I was missing review mods due not many are up to do them anymore.
Building a complete town like that... amazing! I'm pretty sure there will be playthroughs about it soon.
Well the heartfire kinda sucked because bethesda was to lazy to add any different house designs
But they just kept for all three house holds the same boring whiterun house design.
Maube some other modder can move the place to overwrite the hearthfire homes and put it in their locations, have the morthal plot become a fishing village, have dawnstars plot become a farming town, and have falkreaths become a mining/meadery town making all sorts of brews and several apiaries
hearthfire also sucked because as soon as buy any animals then leave, something will come along and kill them all.
@@thomasjenkins7506When I return home there is giant, killing my animals. Every. Fucking. Time.
@@chriscormac231 You should check out Campfire/Hearth Craft. Hearth Craft is the true do-it-yourself house mod, you can build farmhouses, inns, orc huts and more, and drop them wherever you please. Over your Hearthfire land plot, if you like. The only thing is, you can't build carpets, weapon racks, mannequins, or a few other items necessary for decorating your perfect home. I'm really hoping somebody will make an add-on with those items and really fill out the mod. There's already a campfire shrines mod to make up for Hearth Craft only including a shrine of Talos.

I've never heard of Build Your Noble House, but I've been a big fan of the Blackthorn mod for about a year now. Great buildable town with some of the same features. Just reliant on gold, so it lacks that sense of accomplishment.
I installed the mod but haven't started on it. It's because I never go to that area of the map
@@Cause023 It's basically the only reason I go to that area. Definitely check it out. Once you get all of the shops set up, you get weekly income passively. I legit left for a couple in-game weeks and came back to about 6k gold per shop. Insane.

I have an Xbox one and I use DDC with wildcat KYE, survival mode and on legendary. It hads a maaaaaajor challenge to the game especially at a very low level lol. I have had some fantastic deaths and recordings from all of it.
P.S. a shield always comes in handy at any point lol the book that you get for the imperial general in solitude, (mirror something) it teaches alot of importance on the use of a shield. But I digress, fantastic mod review Nate, there's a few I didn't know about with the magic so thank you for the new great info!

Love this channel. Could you do a video on the best dead thrills. That would be a great video
Rebuilding your mod list. I know how that feels. Had to stop using mods for a while because I couldn't figure out which one was making it crash, though it may have been because I had way too many armor crafting mods. I only recently have started playing with mods again, and here are some that made the cut.
Alternate Start - Live Another Life. It's good for someone who doesn't want to go through the vanilla start over and over again because you don't feel like you can do something with a particular character.
Cloaks and Capes. It just adds cloaks and capes to the game, but you probably know how much that adds to the look of the game.
Royal Armory. I didn't do much with it before I went into mod hiatus, but it's really neat and mostly I like it because Commander Maro's sword has a good model and I can get an unenchanted version for my own use.
Elaborate Textiles. While it's questionable how all these peasant can afford embroidery on their clothes, it also makes it look nicer.
Relationship Dialogue Overhaul and Amazing Follower Tweaks. I got these together originally so it's hard to tell where one ends and another begins, but they're great. I'm someone who likes making custom followers, so this lets them have a bit more character, and let's me have a lot more following me around. I didn't get Amazing Follower Tweaks for a while since the image on Bethesda.net made me nervous, but that doesn't have any bearing on the actual mod.
Wet and Cold and True Storms. That's another two mods I can't distinguish for similar reasons, but they're good for anyone who enjoys a good snowfall or rainstorm every once and a while.
Smelting III. What can I say? I prefer the easier way to getting materials for crafting, and if you're crafting lots of iron daggers it means that you can just melt them down and get the same amount of iron continually, making leather and boredom your only concerns. More interesting than mining, I can tell you that.
There are a few others I was thinking of adding from before the hiatus, and I have added quite a few others since. I just think these mods are worth mention, and they're all available on Bethesda.Net, which is an unfortunate requirement for me since the last time I tried getting a Nexus mod.
The Arcanum mods looks awesome. I see they were inspired by other games too, the crystal giant or whatever it's called there is from Dark Souls, Tri-Attack is from Pokemon :D
Nate, can you ever do a video of the top 5 PS4 mods, cause we don’t get much and I want to know if there really is anything worth adding.
Kendall Williams that’s really easy to say, but right now we really don’t have the money for that, I plan on getting one, but not any time soon.
Gettriggered Gaming too much for the 6 bucks that are in my account, but around 300-500 for a good one.
@@allhandsondik7803 The thing is you don't have to build an expensive one; I built one for around the price of a console ($175 USD) and it runs my modded skyrim (with some tweaks) at 50-60 fps. Just research used components that have a high performance to price ratio.
This came at a great time. I was just altering my mod list, and looking for some new ones.

The quality of this video was superb
I wish "Build Your Own Noble House" was on PS4! It's such a cool idea! And I never knew how much I wanted destructible display cases until now.
Warning for ''Build Your Own Noble House''. It's got alot of buggy edits resulting in a very laggy area and has the potential to cause loads of CTD's.
Necro-commenting here, but yeah. Holy CTD batman! All of Locaster's mods cause loads of CTDs for me, even after cleaning them with Tes5edit, wyre bash and LOOT optimization with no other mods on a fresh install of Skyrim; just DLC and the official patches. He's also seemed to have disappeared so I can't run anything by him to see if I could find other fixes. Oh well, so goes it, shame though; they're beautiful mods.
@@Roy-kj8gf Oh man I remember downloading these mods. I'm glad I cut down my load order to less than 15 mods nowadays because otherwise Skyrim Together becomes unplayable. I still get the next-gen graphics and some dlc-size quest mods and I've got to say I don't miss the pain in the ass that was managing ~300 mod load orders at all
