If you are a dental assistant do you have to take an additional course to start to do whitening.
Teeth whitening unfortunately isn't something they teach you in school and to have your own business the business component is a great asset!
one more question, as an RDA do I need extra certification for having my own teeth whitening business? I do teeth whitening's but at work.
To learn how to start and run a teeth whitening business, and get the certificate of completion yes :). It can help reassure clients as well
I'm about to open my teeth whitening business. I'm all set up but I'm still not confident about what gel to go with. I have ordered Hydrogen Peroxide (22 & 35%) and carbamide peroxide (40%). I've seen a lot of other teeth whitening business advertise their products as Plant and mineral based ORGANIC teeth whitening gels. Which whitening gel do you recommend?
The percentage of gels allowed depends on your credentials :) did you take a certified course for your teeth whitening training?

There’s some trainings that give you gum barrier. Is that safe for the gums? Also how would a client apply the gum barrier themselves so that I can legally offer this
Yes it’s safe but I personally find it very difficult to use even with my 19 years of experience lol so I stay away from it. A client wouldn’t be able to apply at themselves. I know I wouldn’t be able to apply it on myself if I had to and I’m trained.
I emailed some of my local places and they either haven’t gotten back to me or didn’t really give me a yes or no and google doesn’t help I just wanna know if it’s legal in ga or not 😩 after that I’m set and on board

No not at all! They still come in for all other treatments and either get refills for the take home kit or after come back for another teeth whitening session
