They have tensioners now on the corners on the Pioneer Compact 2. The vent cap has the stitched-in strap on the opposite side to the vestibule so it's easy enough to identify where the main entrance is when pitching. Great videos and envious of your wild camping in lovely Northern Ireland.

James, always an excellent spot along that breathtaking coast and you had lovely sky before the rain came👍 The Pioneer 2 looks like it is very spacious with one person using it👍 Cool views from the air the next morning👍 and the glamping pods look the business👍

Such a nice place to spend a night in a tent - sea views, nice solitude and some breeze to keep the flying irritants away 😊 I’ve never camped along the coast in Antrim but it always looks so inviting!! Hope your car drama has been sorted now 🤞

You won't be disappointed mate. Cracking tent. Yea antrim is brilliant for walking and wildcamping. Walked from Portrush to the rope bridge with two nights camping last year. Will definitely be doing it again
Hope you get the cars sorted. Wonder wer u had got to not seeing any vids pop up. Was round there myself for a coastal walk near portbradden. I'm from portadown if you need any help at all, getting from train station to car dealer or anything.

That's a nice spot for camping how do you get there and I hope you get the car sorted out I think I was telling you before I brought a pomoly hot tent but the only problem is when camping with the misses we bring 2 single camp bed but they are too long and the door only close half Way down any suggestions on using camping beds so you still have room to use the wood burner plz hope you are keeping well and safe mate
Hi mate there's parking at dunseverick loads of brilliant spots there. I've never used a hot tent so I wouldn't know a solution for that I'm sorry. Thanks for watching mate atb James
Nice video James 👍 great spot that.....I'm in the market for a new tent and I'm torn between helm 2 compact and the pioneer 2....after watching all the reviews it seems there's not much between them apart from the obvious material quality.
Cheers matey. Both are great tents. For stronger winds I would edge to the pioneer but the helm has done high winds too. The pioneer is definitely better quality but the helm for the money is brilliant and the deal breaker for me is there is more options the helm like space and two porches. I hope this helps

Cheers matey. Yea both tents are brilliant I seen that someone attached tensioner to the pioneer so I'm thinking of doing that. I'm think of getting the helm 1 too

The pioneer would be more one man and a dog I would say. The helm 2 iv had two people in no problem. You could fit two in the pioneer but would be a squeeze

@@jamesoutandaboutn.i227 I’ve been out on a few hill camps and love it mate , just got the footprint on my last camp mainly for the vestibule area , ordered 4 delta pegs last week too for windier nights , but yeah love and can’t wait to get back out again mate 👍🏻🏕
@@dekacoombe4595 yea I have the footprint. Great for wet camps. I use the delta pegs on most of my camps. There brilliant for high winds
