Romaticide is one of my favorite Nightwish songs! Such a fantastic hard rock performance. And it teases at just how well Marko and Floor can harmonize!

Zoey, love your reaction and enthusiasm! You mentioned something about how Floor's singing does something emotional to you. Well, she mentioned in an interview that she's a high sensitive person and singing songs are emotional to her and she expresses that in what we hear. It's very easy for her singing to make anyone get tears even after listening to the same songs for years. She has a very high and positive stage presence and can command a crowd. You will notice on most songs they are smiling or having a real good time. No song is the same, you will be surpised by each and every song you react to will most likely be your favorite until you hear the next. Hope you continue your journey! 🤘😛🤘

I know this might seem impossible but seeing as how you really enjoy Nightwish may I humbly recommend you look into a group called Epica. The lead singer of Epica is friends with the lead singer of Nightwish. They actually do a song together called Sancta Terra by Epica. Must listen to 🤘🏻🔥💥🙏🏻💯

Fun fact: Floor Jansen is the wife of Hannes Van Dahl, the drummer in Swedish band Sabaton, who like Nightwish are superstars. Talk about a heavy metal marriage! They live in Sweden and have two children - so far.
Fun fact two: Floor Jansen is 183 centimeters, but is, contrary to popular belief, not the tallest member of Nightwish. That honor goes to the man himself: keyboard player, band leader and musical mastermind Tuomas Holopainen, at 188 centimeters.

I really love your enthusiastic reactions and I can understand them very well. I have heard this song (and other NW songs) very often but every time it is as exciting as the first time I heard them. For example I may have heard "The greatest show on Earth" for about 50 times or more but every time I need a lot of tissues because the beauty and depth of this song make me cry. And not only of this song.
You said it Zoey. Nightwish does have a very unique style. What's next? We will see you then. We all love sharing your first experience with our favorite band.
It's just so good, and every song is different from Celtic to really heavy, with anything in between. Its so creative and interesting everytime. This song is a good one to rev you up to do something or to get your irritation out over a bad boy or girlfriend.

Jinger (Ukrainian Metalcore): I suggest starting with Pieces studio one take.
Halestorm (American Hard Rock): I would suggest starting with "I Miss the Misery", lead singer Lzzy Hale is like this generation's Joan Jett.
Epica: (Dutch Symphonic Metal): Consign to Oblivion is a great start point, Simone Simmons is an amazing Soprano (There is a great performance with Floor "Sancta Terra" live retrospective)
Unleash the Archers (Canadian Alt Metal): I would suggest starting with "Awakening" studio live version. Powerful vocals and instrumentals.
Spiritbox: (Canadian Alt Metal): I would suggest starting with "Jaded". Courtney has amazing clean and harsh vocals.
Aryeon: (Dutch Prog Rock collaboration albums) : I would start with "The Day the World Broke Down", this is a Dutch composer who uses various musicians for storytelling performances.

Another great reaction Zoey, you have now experienced the singing of the great Marko and Floor's and Marko's amazing slide lol. You will see more of Marko sing in other songs and although he has left the band now he is still fondly remembered and now has started playing and singing again after a bit of a hiatus. He is even thinking of forming a band with Nightwish's first female singer Tarja who left the band in 2003 I think the year was. She had a very different style to Floor, more classical/operatic. You will see what I mean if you react to Phantom of the Opera from the End of an Era tour.
Has for seeing Nightwish Live, I am afraid you will have to wait a bit as they have decided to have a hiatus and not tour for their next album which will come out later this year and first single for it comes out later this month I think. They have also signed a new multi record deal so that has abetted fears from some fans that they were breaking up. But when you see the amount of touring they do for a record normally you can understand why they need a rest. There is a documentary called Please Learn The Setlist In 48 Hours which is about them sacking their second female singer Annette and getting Floor to finish the tour for them which I recommend you at least watch, if you think you want to react to it you can but it is 2 hours long so maybe do it for a special occasion. I will link it if you want to see it. It is in Finnish but has English subtitles all the way through for when they don't speak English.

I love Nightwish and i've seen that a series of Nightwish songs has already been suggested, so I'm here to suggest something different but incredible, the songs from the channel “Inutilismo”, he made 5 songs on this channel between 2019 and 2023 called “20xx Em uma Música” which translates as “20xx In a Song”, I recommend that you start with “2021 Em uma Música” which is his most popular or “2023 Em uma Música” which was the last one released.
