Nice dance so cool😂
In restaurant wow so creative
sounds like the jealous boyfriend who didn't get any
That one person that ruins it for everyone else is most likely the one with the most inappropriate thoughts.
Yep!
How about the bow legged waitress forcing her “dance” on customers who are only there to eat? She is grotesque. It is a restaurant, not a disco.
That person has a boring and miserable life!🤣
People who think this is inappropriate are really the ones not being appropriate by criticizing something that is not inappropriate.
now they in delimena
It’s low taste
plz be more jealous @mohammedkumar473
If it is not part of the job description.
Then it is inappropriate.

This dance looks fun, it's not inappropriate, it's perfectly fine! Nobody is forcing you to go to that restaurant if you don't like the dance
Most restaurant have, it's embarrassing
In America we call people who complain about everything "Karens." Looks like China has them too. If they don't like the dance they should go some place else.
This video is misleading. People is complaining about the atmosphere being turned into a disco club. Imagine if you are having a quiet dinner, but all of a sudden music started blasting and the waiters began doing this wierd dance. This is not just for a moment but happen again and again all night.
@@aaabbb8777 the hair salon and manicure service are already distracting anyway. If they don't like the atmosphere they can just go somewhere else.
@@Novusod This happens at most haidilao outlets, embarrassing
I loved how the waiters interacted with their customers. I would love to visit.

How is this inappropriate? Gosh! Life is hard enough so maybe, we should all relax and be happy.

Precisely! Life is so hard now just chill!
@@jasxteo 👍
Not only are these women uncovered, but they are gyrating their hips very suggestively. Muslims in China would like places to go for dinner and not be subjected to western decadence.
Imagine not having a life and complaining about a company choosing for their employees to dance for the customers at the customers request. Those are the kind of people who are bitter to the core and can't stand others having joy. The employer is free to do as it wishes with the company, the employees are free to comply or get another job, and the customers are free to ask for this if they like it or go to a different restaurant if they don't. Geez...

This is in China, so I’m not quite sure just how much choice everyone has in their lives but it is a fun and cute dance.

I guess there are people who can only be happy when others are unhappy. How is this dance provocative!?!? Seriously, people need to get a life, they're ruining everyone else's fun times being such Grinches 🙄
As an introvert I don't see anything wrong with this dance.

Here is the option - if you don't like it then don't go ! This sounds FUN ! I wanna go !
Don't go if you don't like it, it's literally that simple.
Is it really “that simple”? It sounds like part of this issue is that the dancing isn’t established or regular, it’s new.
If I went somewhere that didn’t do this before and all of a sudden started doing dance routines, I’d be annoyed… especially if I enjoyed the restaurant before they decided to add loud music skits. Yes, I’d decide to no longer visit since it’s not for me.. but I still have the right to be upset and call out the establishment after my visit for changing things up.
On the other hand, if this place always did this, then sure, I can be upset after finding out, but then it’s just a personal issue, not the fault of the establishment.
Compare it to a restaurant you enjoyed previously who has now decided to throw pillows at all their guests midway through their meals while also clanking pots and pans to make noise. Pillows don’t hurt anyone and the event may be perceived as fun for some, but there’s going to be a lot of other people who don’t enjoy getting pillows thrown at them and hearing loud noises while they are just trying to enjoy a meal. Everyone can decide for themselves to visit again or not, as do they have the right to voice their displeasure of the change in service.
That said, the dances are fine. Just personally find it annoying for a restaurant.
@@HiThisIsMine DONT GO, It IS actually THAT simple
@@winniethepoohandeeyore2 - Seems like you’ve closed your ears, eyes and mind off to the fact that the restaurant didn’t do this before. I’ve already explained this in my response, but let’s make it more simple for you…
Let’s say you were watching Winnie the Pooh reruns and every 10-15 minutes on the screen, the show was interrupted by loud music and dancing K-pop’ers in an effort by the show to provide additional entertainment value.
Do you just sit there quietly while never mentioning anything… or do you get a little upset that you can’t enjoy your show without regular interruptions anymore and voice your displeasure to the broadcast company, social media or to your friends?
You think it’s ridiculous that people are voicing that they are upset about the music and dancing, when if fact, it makes complete sense. You can just stop watching Winnie the Pooh though of course.. it’s “that simple”.
@@HiThisIsMine If you do not like a place, You do not go it's simple as that
It’s always that ONE customer that ruins the fun for everyone else!
How is this inappropriate 😅. People get mad over the stupidest reasons.
People really need to get a life
I’m guessing a significant percentage of the complainers are of the older generation who are more culturally conservative. Those people… already had their life.
Lol
@@onlywei Well, There's a lot seniors would like that..some things that are different sometimes welcoming.

@robust5615 yes (im joking)
They obviously have not been to America lol. That is the most cleanest performance ever.
People gotta relax about this, this dance done by the waiters and waitresses are obviously done for entertainment and to put a smile on customers' faces. It is just a funny dance with no ill intention. If you really dislike this dance you should go and complain about almost every kpop group there is out there.
Love this dance! The dancers did so well too! Those unhappy diners should just eat elsewhere since this restaurant’s concept is not their cup of tea. No one is forcing them to eat it and no one wants to be forced to eat at a boring restaurant just because some people have no sense of humour or fun.
Go somewhere else, then. This is obviously a place to ENJOY the simple things with a bit of pampering! Goodness..ppl are so..ugh😒! Thanks☺️
I think they are very very talented
Hey mister, I see you found this video too. 👁👄👁🔪
Dancing is a expression of happiness and joy
Probably are those who doesn't own a phone that are complaining about it!
I wish waiters in the US were this enthusiastic and danced like this
If you have a Haidilao chain in your city you can visit to see this dance too. I saw it last week in this restaurant in Toronto Canada.
I’ve seen waiters in the US enthusiastic. Quit generalizing.
Cool user picture. Lol probably some Americans can't dance.
But in USA, they have other people (staff???) that do it on poles..... you can go there.
But what about the tips 😅
they don't dance all the time though, this is by request so it's because the customer wants it
you don’t have to participate, just eat your food and look at your phone😂
Nothing wrong with that. I would imagine, the dining experience is pretty much standard across all countries ie: go in, seat, order, eat and pay. They are trying to be unique amongst their competition by doing something special and stand out from the competition. Nothing wrong with that what so ever.
People will find anything to complain about
Nice Dance Moves. Customers should at least appreciate the hardwork staff is entertaining their customers instead of complaints and unappreciative attitude. Wah! The service for customers are top notch
Nobody ask them to dance. Just do your job properly
@@BWart-zp5hyHow do you know they aren’t doing their job properly? Also customers ask for this, so it seems all your points are irrelevant
@@JoeARedHawk275 Then the customers are the idiots.
@@JoeARedHawk275 You probably don't know how it feels to have ppl disturbing your meal. Just imagine u eating with family, and some random music blasts and people start dancing around
@BWart-zp5hy But that's the thing! They dance *when customers request it!* they dance upon request. So clearly customers wanted them to dance. So those customers who don't like it can go elsewhere! That's what you do when you don't like the service of a particular establishment. Just don't go and those who like it will keep going. Smdh! I'm sure there are customers who go there specifically because they want this entertainment while they eat.
😂😂😂
Get real people!! There's nothing inappropriate in these dance moves!! This dancers are wonderful and having fun for everyone to enjoy!!!❤❤
This has to be the most family friendly "provocative dance" ever.
It's just a bit of fun, people who hate themselves don't like to see others having fun 😂
😂
Life is different depending on where you live and what country you are in. No matter where I live or where I have been, we need more restaurants like this!! That's so cool that they will dance with you, and do your hair!! Outstanding service, I bet! I'll keep an eye out for one of these restaurants next time, but first I must learn the dance!!
"Provocative" I think I found it funny 😂
Just bring the food out
this isnt appropriate, this is entertainment. you dine with every worth. stop being bitter. unless the dance involve you to dance together or disturb you when you are eating or your food, then that is a problem.
Yup. The waiters didn't make fun of other diners while dancing. I worked in hai di lao before and they do have VIP rooms. If you really want a peaceful meal with privacy and no disturbance, you could actually book their VIP room( every of their restaurants have a minimum spending requirement before you could actually book their VIP room). So for those individuals that wanna have their own peaceful meal with full privacy, go ahead and spend $888 on a meal (according to the outlet i worked before) and you could have an individual room by yourself
If I am uncomfortable anywhere, I leave. The problem is solved.
Some people believe in standing up for themselves, and not running away.
@@iii___iii Lol. Be reasonable. Discrimination in their business or disrupting others outside of their business with the inside noise is one thing. Those customers were freely inside a private business and upset because people were loud and dancing. If someone else's happiness inside their private business upsets you, you have a problem.
@@phocian Why would I have the problem when I would not expect to be subjected to raucous and salacious dancing at a family restaurant?
@@iii___iii I didn't literally mean you. I meant people that it applies to.
It looks upbeat and fun.
If you don’t like it, don’t eat there. Problem solved! Also, how rude to call a folk dance from one region of China inappropriate. It’s a folk dance! It clearly lasted thru time. And sure the additional services seem weird to me but if patrons like the services and the restaurant wants to provide it, it’s not against the law.
😂
Competition heats up. The owner of the restaurant is an entrepreneurial visionary.
Others who find it offensive should dine elsewhere.
meanwhile in some restaurants in Thailand were some waiters are dancing shirtless and totally dancing provocative actions with the customers hahahahaha and customers seems to be just laughing and liking everything..
The customer can gain satisfaction and the waiter can gain tips sounds like a different profession
Love this dance. They are hard worker and they bring smile to others face even though they are not happy inside. Respect what job it is. Thank you guys bring smile to people's face.

As a Gunagdong person I never knew about this dance! This is actually pretty interesting!
The camera doesn't record how overworked these waiters are
i'm from East Asia. i was a HDL (this chain - Haidilao) waiter! it was pretty fun haha. most of us were uni kids
Why would you assume they are overworked? Did you work for the chain in the past?

Was in Indonesia having dinner at a hotpot restaurant, the staff danced and purposely broke those chipped ceramic plates during the peak hours & attracted much attention/applause from the diners!
Where is that? I never heard of restaurant staff dancing in Indonesia.
@@verifeli MK Resturant in a shopping mall in Jakarta.
Don't go then. Simple. Until the employees themselves don't want to do it, don't ruin it for everyone else or shame the employees.
Why bring your family somewhere you're gonna be uncomfortable...
I just hope that the employees who do dance are ones who want to or don't have a problem with dancing. It shouldn't be a requirement to dance for employment there, nor should it affect their pay, hours, benefits, and they should absolutely be allowed to chose not to dance without any repercussions.
That’s the problem. I’ve read another post that said they are forced to dance and their performances affect their pay. In this post the dancers look happy. In other clips it shows workers being forced and dancing whilst looking uncomfortable and cringe and having no choice.
@@emmalee9747 if that's the case, hopefully it doesn't catch on.

such a fun dance
But this is the main reason I want to go to Haidilao. 😢😢😢 Sadly, the first Haidilao in my country is not open yet. It was announced in 2022, it’s almost 2024 and still not open. Sigh

What’s crazy is that they call it inappropriate, they clearly have never been to a club in Atlanta, Baltimore or Miami!😭🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣
People aren't happy until they're not happy.
If I go out to eat, I wanted to see food and chow down and if I expected to be entertained then I'd go to a nightclub or cabaret.
The customers look happy to me. That’s all that counts.
The dancers are talented and seem to be having fun. I can't understand why anyone would complain about it!
it's fun and entertaining!
Why is it so similar to Thai dancing style 😂
This is completely fine why are people so petty 😭 it’s a folk dance for crying out loud 😭
Sounds like inappropriate accusations are hiding massive feelings of jealousy.
Lol... Snowflakes... I think it's a great gimmick! I went to the one in Vancouver and thought it was awesome
*Its only inappropriate if you make it inappropriate*
-a wise man.
Anything different always gets noticed for the wrong reasons. A smile and well being is what we all need more of they get my likes. Keep doing what you're doing smile laugh and dance there not hurting anyone just giving a bit of love to the customers.
but it's at customer's request?? these people are fighting ghosts
This is not inappropriate at all compared to western or latin dance
Ugh. They need a sign “fun customers only.” 🙄
Its just a dance,my goodness!!
Nail and food clearly should not mix for hygiene reasons. Dancing is fine and its their choice.
Nail and other services are outside of the restaurant, so it doesn't mix with the restaurant hygiene. Usually customers request that services when the waiting time is too long or after eating.
I can tell you right now that the waiters absolutely hate it. It must be exhausting 😢
Its exhausting, but as anyones job, you take it
Exhausting as it might be, as long as you can get extra pocket. I see no problem here. :D
Nothing inappropriate about this at all. The ones complaining about it are the ones having inappropriate thoughts.
This looks so fun though 😅
Theres always one, you can't keep everyone happy, if you don't like it then don't go to that restuarant, simples.
You can never satisfy all people... So customer who likes it, can dine it. For those who can't just don't go.
I don't see anything wrong with this dance. I like how they dance.
Just hope they pay their staff
It may look provocative if you consider "traditional Asian culture", especially if you eat with family it's gonna be awkward.
People who love the food there but don't like the dance that other customers request, so they still want to come back to the restaurant (for food) but want to get rid of the dance and other services that disturb their dinner time.
Personally I like the dance, but poor waiters/waitresses, they should get paid enough for alllll the things they do just to please the customers.
I don't know where you come from but people who find this dance "provocative" has nothing to do with traditional asian culture. It's "traditional keyboard warrior culture" or "karen culture" if you want a name.
As a restaurant chain, Haidilao has never been known as a formal restaurant, it's casual oriented. This is not the first time they tried something new like this, even in foreign countries they also perform all sort of dancings and most of the time they get the appriciation of local people. I don't know why your family would feel awkward because of this dance, but I would definitly bring my family to a place like this.
How do you know they don't get paid enough or above minimun wages?
They get tips from costumer for their dance...
What do you mean "traditional Asian culture?" Only westerners always sexualize Asians. The video even said it's a cultural wedding dance. So you're saying families dance provocative dance during wedding celebrations?
Please don't go there no body forcing you 🙏
Those who rated this as an inappropriate haven't gone to Pattaya. After go there only you decide which one is inappropriate 😂
