- This is the first episode of our new Fur Shed Series. For most of us, trapping is part of our lifestyle. Trappers pretty much are involved or think about trapping 365 days a year. The "off season" is spent working on and preparing equipment, building needed items, improving our fur sheds, maybe making bait, securing permission, and making plans for the best season ever! I think we are all optimists, the upcoming season will be our best yet. And of course, to have the best season, we have to be prepared.
The fur shed series is about and will follow all of the off season preparation.
As you will see we are building and organizing a new fur shed. The series will also include; working on equipment, building needed items, trap adjustment and prep, fur handling, etc. In other words it will cover just about everything that is involved with trapping with the exception of trapping. All of the actual trapping will be on our show; Hoosier Trapper Outdoors. I hope you find the fur shed series helpful and enjoyable. I encourage comments, questions, and suggestions. - Zábava
Really cool.
Nice shed! I'm in the process of building a 12x16 fur shed/broiler chicken barn, the only way I could sell my wife on the idea😆
Nice 🙂
Looks great and you can never start to early to get ready. Later you guys and all the best.
Heading the right way buddy. You made out on the pallet jack. Way to go.
Very nice setup. That's going to be a real timesaver. Keep up the good work!
Hope to see some trap prep and tuning to come in this series. Keep them coming.
Good job guys. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.
Going to be a great series.
Looks like a great start!
looks great,i would add another light in the fleshing area also.
If you ever have to hang a ceiling again make a T out of a 2x4 the same height as the cieling. Then you can prop it up against the plywood and someone can kick the bottom over till its wedged in place. Screw your board in then pull the T and your on to the next board.
I like your trapper shack. I have done the same thing, built a room inside the barn. I hope I get some good ideas from yours to improve mine.
That fur shed need's a wood stove. Just a small one would do. Nothing like wood burning on a cold day.
place is looking great keep up the great video only thing I would add is a skinning meshin
I like it but idk about the double doors just lost a lot of space all around I get it with the pallet jack but for where your storage shelves are to pick a tub up and walk through the man door and load the pallet jack up from there ya know...but love your videos can't wait for this season and watch all those different trips you guys took
I enjoy your videos guys and I'm building me a new fur shed as well!what kind of fleshing beam y'all going with in this one ?
