holy shit the hotwheels b-roll was 10/10
RIP Paul Walker
The hot wheels b-roll goes so insanely hard, wow.. Just when I thought this channel couldn't get any more sick. Also, LOVE the admission that taking 3 minutes to clean the rice cooker was an insurmountable task.. Same Josh.. Same.
I just want you to know that you are a GODSEND for this series. I have lost so much weight with your recipes and I recommend your channel to anybody that's looking to meal prep tasty and healthy foods
I second that!!!
This was my first meal prep meal ever and it was so good that I can't wait to circle back to it after I try a lot of your other meals!
It's ok to admit you ordered a hotwheels track as a grown man, we all wish we could.
Food looks good!
That ending hahaha. Been following you ever since i saw your buffalo chicken rice recipe. Used many of your recipes since, and I've loved your videos for how you get straight to the point and your humour. Always lots of great content crammed into a short video, not just the recipe itself but some good tips along the way. I feel I've become a much better cook overall from watching you so thanks for that!
Absolutely delicious! I just made it for work for the next couple of days and had enough left for dinner tonight!
Dude, you are the MAN on so many levels. Another great video !!!!!
This is the best meal prep channel, hands down
Making this meal this weekend! Can’t wait!
"my rice cooker was dirty and the 3 minutes it would have taken to clean it sounded like one of the worst things that could happen to me" I feel so seen yet so called out at the same time
You and Ethan is the collab I didn't realize I wanted. Make it happen!
Is that happening?!
Bro I can’t handle the suspense of the collab
I got him to come play squash with me last year. Good dude
Loser appears on winner’s channel?
Yes! That definitely needs to happen! 🫰🏾
I've been making a curry meal prep throughout covid and the amount of flavor from those spices make it feel like a cheat meal. I'll either steam some broccoli and cauliflower or microwave a potato for it depending on my calories. Add a dollop of plain greek yogurt to make it extra creamy. Anything stewed or sitting in a sauce get better as the week goes on.
Greek yogurt! I’ll have to try adding a little to see how it tastes but creamier would be awesome.
Cool recipe, I'm going to prepare it today. Also I hear ya on the garlic shortcut, I use jarred often but also a garlic press can mince cloves real quick without having to peel.
Tysm for this recipe. Made it for this week’s lunch and I’m in love. 🫶🏻
LOL, the car shots were just perfect :) Yummy meal, too.
Just made this slightly modified:
- Did 1lb ground chicken and 1 can of chickpeas instead of 2lbs chicken
- Used coconut milk instead of water in the curry
Its really good! Thanks Josh!
Great idea with the coconut milk, thanks!
Tried what you said, first time using coconut milk in anything, kinda sweet but gives a nice flavour. Turned out pretty well
Great stuff. Looking for easy very high protein meal prep. Subscribed!
Very nice recipe ... loved it!!
Thank you brother this one turned out great.
Getting the wrong item from an Amazon delivery can be amazing. One time I ordered a CD and received the complete Bruce Lee collection instead. Definitely a better tradeoff.
I once ordered a Rush box set and while I only paid for one they sent me 4.
Lol
"AcCiDeNtLy" sent me a hot wheels ramp
Suuureee...
This looks easy enough ad delicious. Lets see how I can screw this one up. Cant wait to try it Thank you Josh!
How can you screw it up? He literally tells you exactly how to do it lol
chicken (or vegetable) stock instead of water, using storebought cubed stock is fine :)
Adding 120 to 150g of unsalted nutts to this dish for heart health and a bit of crunch. For curries I prefer a peanut and almond mix but you do you.
Sic hot wheels stunts, need to see more of that in the future
I just made this following your recipe! Thanks 😃 I already did a little taste test and can't wait to eat this later today at work
how was it? I wanna try ittttt
@@spuffles2104 it was good, I will make it again
Ok. I always watch your videos. The hot wheel demo just seals the deals just like blooming the spices in this meal prep. I'm gonna take out my ninja and make some ground chicken and make this puppy. I best stop at a Walmart to pick up some hot wheels. Gotta stay true to your example! ❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
THIS IS AMAZING THANK YOU
I’ve been using frozen diced onion for the past while too, one more bit of chopping gone each week.
Pretty good curry. Enjoyed this one - turned out well.
I definitely am having this next week
I watched this guy for 60-seconds and subscribed immediately
Dude this is hilarious. Love this channel.
Since you add quite an Indian touch to your cooking & you seem to enjoy flavor, here's a little tip. Add a little bit of cumin seeds (not powder), a couple cardamom and a small cinnamon stick when you add water to your rice. This will 100x the rice!
what was that "touch" in this recipe? This is basically Indian chicken keema curry, start to finish.
That Paul Walker edit though 😅😂
I’ve been wanting to get a food processor and this helped me make that decision as there’s no ground chicken at the grocery stores I usually go to. Anyways, I made a small portion of the chicken curry to try it out and it’s delicious, some peas and maybe coconut milk would make this tastier BUT the way made here is definitely healthier with just the right amount of calories I’m going for, it is slightly too spicy, could it be the cayenne pepper or some of the other seasonings, I think I can handle the heat but toning it down would be better. Thanks for the recipe!
Best ending yet. Keep up the hot weheels
first time coming across this channel, instant sub when I saw the SIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK hotwheels B-roll
Dude another comment. Brain fried today and needed to meal prep. This was perfect! Love curry dishes, too. Thanks to you I was not a cry-ass today. Well, not too much. 🤪
I usually don't cook the rice. After the water boiled, wrap it in whatever heat insulation (cast iron IMO should be enough on its own) and let it sit. Same result yet +10-15 mins, but no chance of overcooking / burning (and technically somewhat cheaper to make but that's a whatever amount of heat I guess).
You can get a small rice cooker for around $25. They're worth it.
That’s interesting. I’ve never heard of that
@@Badmunky64 or any thrift store for $5. My cheap little thrift store cooker with just a switch is leagues ahead of my big ass more expensive one with like 20 buttons and settings
for the rice you can add bay leaf, cardamom pods ,whole black pepper and cloves to give fragrance to the rice, just make sure to remove them before portioning
Th B-reel at the end made me gain 30 lbs of lean muscle! Thank you!
Those were just indeed some sick jumps
Ok, Paul got me, LMAO. Great job!
Lmao at the end with the sick jump 😂😅😂😂
Best ending I have ever seen
inspirational
I just made this and oh my gosh it taste amazing!! Took me like an hour to make, but that’s cuz I’m a beginner 😂
i got one word for u man. thank u
Dude your personality is the best lol
Worth it for the sick jumps alone
When doing your written guides on your website, is it possible to ask for a "full shopping list" so if an ingredient is used in two different parts of the recipie, it's easier to shop for with a "combined" list aswell.
I enjoy your videos and look forward to trying some of the meals out, but my head gets overwhelmed easily when I have to translate ingredients and find out if it's in more steps than one so I give up before I even get started.
Know that's a "me" issue, but I find you inspiring anyway, and want to try out your meal prepping ways, I seem to never find a way to incorporate veggies for my own meals.
So finding inspiration in something healthy and good looking like your meals is great.
Hope it can become an option, or someone can help me with an easier way to make the list.
Keep up the work! love your videos! And best of luck in the future
You may have found a solution by now, but just in case you haven’t, if you add the recipe(s) to your collection, you can then go in and create a shopping list which has all the ingredients listed as well as the quantity/amount needed.
those jumps were so sick!
More vids on efficiency while keeping it clean , high calories too, high carbs !
What size Meal Prep Containers? Excellent Videos!
It's so true. a day old chicken curry always tastes better.
This recipe has India- essence to it loved that you cooked it in Ghee
yoo bro, is there any way you can make another breakfast item with good calories & protein ? mainly for muscle building.
Did lean ground beef instead of chicken and *chefs kiss*
I'm weird I love food cold - I thin it has more flavor. I eat all the meals I prep cold 90% of the time. But thanks for this new recipe I will be truing it out next week as this week is your Buffalo chicken rice bowl
Do you have any meal preps that incorporate and instant pot?
What’s the separate breakdown in calories for the rice and chicken curry?
Any replacement to garam masala? Great video btw
Question plz I thought chicken after cooked lasted 3 maybe 4 days max to be safe in the fridge
I didn’t even know minced ginger was a thing!
Food looks okay... but that b roll? Sensational!
The Hotwheels making the action shot. Made this video
Wtf was that ending? Hahahah. Amazing!!
What do I eat the other 2 days if the week?
610 calories with 50 grams of protein per meal x 4 meals per day is a great place to start for many people. 7am, 11:30-12pm, 5pm, and 9pm.
Where can i find that electric hotplate?
Can't wait for the second channel that's going to be all sick Hot Wheels jumps
How would you bring this up to the 1000 calorie mark for those of us trying to bulk?
Can i use butter instead of Ghee? I cant find it anywhere.
I've been watching your channel for a while and love that you show both units of measurement. Do you eat the same food for 5 days straight? I consider meal prepping so I can save both time and money but not sure if I can give up the variety. Any suggestions or tips is greatly appreciated!
I meal prep and freeze half. That way I can cycle in other foods or meal prep 2 things and switch it up over the next few weeks. After about 3 weeks of doing this I have a good variety of food ready in the fridge as well as in the freezer ready to be thawed. Idk if that would help you but it works for me!
@@foxxxyg this is actually an incredible idea. I am a serial meal prep giver upper around Wednesday to Thursday. Unfortunately I also can’t be assed to cook on week night evenings either (and with the new job I have it’s legitimately become a lot harder). Still, I’m going to bookmark this idea in the back of my mind.
Damn it Josh. You’re gonna make me buy a hot wheels track aren’t you
That looked great. Hot wheels by mistake - shure... LOL
Came for the hot wheels, stayed for the recipe.
Let me reccomend the meat breaker upper that Brian Lagerstrom (i think) reccomends. Might cut down on your meat chopping time
I don’t like peas. Is there anything else veggie wise that would taste good?
Can I cook this in a wok?
Any alternatives to the cilantro garnish that you could recommend for those of us with the soap-tasting curse?
Im interested in this too! Have you tried making this dish and what did you use as the alternative?
Hot wheels needs to sponsor you ASAP. I forgot how much I used to love those things as a kid even though it was just pure marketing through the TV ads baiting me as a 7 year old.
The bag of frozen pre-peeled garlic cloves at Costco is the perfect compromise between flavor and convenience.
would cauliflower rice work
how to reheat if i freeze it????
Can i use a rice cooker?
The Final xd
Unironically, the jokes in these recipe videos make me much more likely to actually give it a try.
Man of culture for using ghee!!
I think we all fully expect a Hot Wheel trick shot in every video now.
Hi, I'm new to cooking. For the "dry rice", did you wash it then proceeded to put it in the pot as shown in the video or did you have to wash it and then wait a while until its dried out?
No you don’t have to wait. Dry is just meant to mean uncooked
@@TheMealPrepManual ah ok, thank you very much for the reply. Appreciate it.
My dyslexia read this as: Ground Chicken Slurry.
Yummm.
I'm officially begging you to make a separate hotwheels channel. Those last 30 seconds were fire.
This ground chicken curry is dedicated to Paul walker RIP
This recipe is both fast _and_ furious
What about Paul Walker?
@@QQ-xt9ufthis recipe is dedicated to him
@@DonnePlummer69😊😊😊😊😊
@@probably4943
Why that ?
This might be a stupid question but did you wash the dry rice before toasting it?
some people do, some dont. I usually do
You have to end all your videos this way now!! 🤩🤩 🏎️ 🏎️
Josh, love the content, love the recipe; but you're not foolin anyone on this "Amazon _accidentally_ sent me this Hot Wheelz track" business. 😂 Loved the B-roll still!
Half of a bunch
Classic
I'm here for the hot wheels b roll shots
When it clipped the last meal and caused a minor rice explosion is the hardest I've laughed at something so incredibly stupid in a while. God bless this manchild
