Chris Sale is truly a class act with tons of integrity. As a die hard Braves fan I'm proud to have him on my favorite team. Great interview guys and thanks to Foul Territory for having Chris on today.
As a Braves fan, I am excited. Cant wait to watch him contribute for the next few years
Absolutely
He’s very likable athlete as well
i’m a diehard Red Sox fan even though Chris sale hasn’t done well lately I still wish him well he’s a really nice person he owns up to his mistakes he could turn it around and I do know a friend of his personally from Florida. He is a great guy in Boston and wishes him well I wouldn’t care if you went on win a cy young thank you Chris for being honest I wish you well Randy
Hope Grissom absolutely kills it for you guys. We love him in Atlanta and he's a great guy. All the best!
I like Chris Sale more now
Pumped to see him on the mound in a Braves uniform. LFG.
Chris Sale is the best. Love this man so much.
Sale was a great interview. They should bring him on more!
done! he'll be on more regularly
@@ScottyBraun-FoulTerritorySo awesome! Chris is my favorite player and I love hearing from him. Such a nice man.
Yankee fan here, but it is so cool to listen to Chris Sale this candid. I have always liked great pitchers when they are dominating, even when it's the opposition.
It must be really, really hard for him that the past few seasons have been marred by injury. Nice to see that he still has a positive outlook, even though he's also realistic he might not pitch long.
Big props to Foul Territory as well. What a fine show this is. I like how it is set up; former major leaguers as the panel discussion, legitimate journalist/insider to give us the inside scoop, and the amazing guests from all facets of baseball.
Keep up the good work, fellas!
Future Braves Legend, Chris Sale
keep those tvs safe
Let's face it, he's a has been.
1 of the best convos we've had on FT
good work brother
Definitely
Extremely excited to have this guy on our side. Welcome Chris. Lets go get a ring.
As a Red Sox fan, I'm sorry to see Chris Sale go... but i give sincere thanks for all he's done for the Red Sox,.especially 2018... I'll never forget the final strikeout. Good luck with the Braves! I'm glad he won't be pitching for someone else in the AL.
This guy takes so much pressure off the rotation.
Pierzynski interviewing him is hilarious
If Sale doesn't think he's a baseball hof'er, he is most certainly a Red Sox hof'er.
Thanks for everything Chris, we'll miss you here in Boston. We appreciate your talent and fire, go get em in Atlanta! Much love!
Sale, Please come work for Boston after your pitching career is done.😊
I remember wanting him bad before he went to the Red Sox. Welcome to the Braves!!!
he bout to have 3 great seasons with us, get another ring, call it a career. (i f*ckin pray)
Damn he should’ve spoke out sooner. Cool dude. Damn shame the narrative on him is the opposite.
He has. I saw almost this exact same thing a few days ago on another channel.
Braves world series champion 🏆
AA getting the right guy at the right time. I hate it to say the injury bug - but if he can avoid it... he will be an absolute monster in the NL East. Full health, 32 games he is the Braves number 3 and putting a seriously great season with the Bats and Defense behind him. Think about Fried, Strider, Sale, Morton -- Left, Right, Left, Right. **PRAY these guys stay healthy, just for baseball**
Best pitcher ever
If you use war average mlb hall of famer is 60 and Chris is at 47 so he could probably get there but hall of fame voters suck .. and this shows you how good he is in under 1800 innings while mark Buehrle over 3k innings is 59 .. so Chris says he’s way ahead to be hall of fame isn’t exactly accurate but I think both are hall of famers
Jesus loves u Chris!
white Sox player not getting an x ray for two days sounds exactly right
The amount of content you guys pump out is great but having 2 catchers the youth doesn’t give a crap about is what sucks
Catchers are the ones with the brains, but who were you expecting...Yadier Molina?
doesnt mean much when everything you say is some hater bs
I never knew AJ had such a foul mouth.
He just can’t stay healthy.Great competitor when healthy and great teammate.
Braves, hey wanna get rid of the deferred money, dodgers, about that
There's no need for the vulgar language. You can do a decent interview and give us information without having to have a language warning on the video!
Oh go clutch your pearls somewhere else
@@tommcneill6292what ever happen to common decency? I think it went the same place where common sense went!
I wouldn’t count on him pitching very much, Braves fans. His arm is a blow out waiting to happen.
Well the Braves will probably baby him @ first of the season. Let him pitch a game or to stay stretched out, have him skip a turn or two, then as the season progresses, let him pitch his turn every time. They'll break him in slowly @ first until they are sure he's healthy enough to handle the load. Atlanta managers have had the philosophy of if a player says he is okay to play after coming back from an injury, they will sit him out a game or two just to make sure he's telling the truth. So I think he will be okay @ least for awhile. They want him strong for the back end of the season.
Hate to think there's not a very thorough medical evaluation before Atlanta signed his contract.
@@jeffreyhumphries-jw2fo I mean I’m sure the Red Sox did a thorough evaluation on his health too before signing him to an extension. But as Chris points out, most of his post Tommy John injuries were fluke things. Hopefully he’s behind that now. I will love this man forever and always root fiercely for his success and good health.

They should consider sending him to rehab starts the first part of the year during weeks with 2 days off, to keep him sharp. Knowing his ego, would he accept a minor league tune up start once a month, if he wasn't in rehab?
