I cycled this in June many years ago, when the snow was still shoulder height either side of the road. The view at the top is wonderful, and the descent was quite something. Now I’m watching this whilst on my indoor bike. It brings back memories, thank you .

Watching your beautiful videos, makes me want to get a go pro and do some road trips as well on weekends. What else is there to do during a pandemic.
I thoroughly enjoyed driving this road in June 2019 from Barcelonette to the Tinee valley, then over to Saint Martin-Vesubie. My wife, on the other hand, did not!! She hadn’t realised before that she had a fear of such extreme heights.

Drove this road today for the first time. It was magnificent...and a bit scary on the top. After the morning rain there were a lot of rockfalls on the way. Some rocks had even fallen right in front of my car😨

I can see why it's a favorite! Well done. It's very nice but then at about the 30-minute mark - POW! - and wow! Were you headed south (afternoon sun)? And do you choose a direction based on where the light will be, i.e., not in your face?

Or the good old trolley bus. But much more quicker. - E-drive is the ideal engine in the high mountains area. No problems with carburettor or turbo Injektion!
How far can u drive before u have to recharge the car?
Depends on my right foot :-) If I'm really pushing it on the Autobahn, it can be 150km... but in mountainous areas where I drive +-80km/h max, I can easily get over 300km.
