Excellent informative movie about Saint Thyagaraja. His composition "Endaro Mahanubhavulu" one of the pancharatna kirtana is my favorite. I'm novice to Tamil language. Yet I was immersed in the film throughout! I am sure that St. Thyagaraja shouldn't have secured that much fame had he borned in Telugu land. How can Telugu people repay the debt of Tamil folk who owned St. Thyagaraja as if their own and made him stand on the high pedestal of classical music world. All kudos to the entire team of makers of this awe-inspiring master piece!

A musical treat; Story telling - kachchidam! Brahmana bashai through out : appealing. Fast n never a scene was a drag. Back ground setting apt and soothing. Bhakti rasam flows through out. Inteteresting to learn that Sarboji Raja belonged to Thyagaraja period. Music n Bhakti dominates the entire theme. Neat direction.
Steal time. Watch it. You will like it.
One day a week, on Saturdays maybe, at homes and schools, these kind of films must be shown to our children. And then have a discussion later. Knowledge and character imparted in the gentlest of ways, in the ancient way of our Bharatha.

I felt blessed to watch this screen adaptation of our revered Saint Thyagaraja's life. The lead actor Raghavan has done full justice to his role. His rendition of the kritis is also very good. Kudos to the entire team for the conceptualisation and execution of this film. Rama Rama Rama.

Couldnt hold my emotions all through... May his tribe increase. The only way we can pay homage to Swami Tyagaraja is by following vedanta so intrinsic to his lyrics. Can we all request the CM of UP to build a Tyaggayyar Mandapam in the Ram Temple Complex in Ayodhya along with Mani Mandapas for other Ramabhaktas including Ramdasar, Tulasidas, etc ?
