Nice review. I’ve been climbing with this saw for a while now and agree with everything stated here. It has its place (pruning/deadwooding) but definitely not chunking down wood, although I have pushed it hard on some 16” spars. I’ve heard converting it to 1/4 pitch helps with the stalling issue but the sprockets are difficult to find and expensive.
Thanks for the kind words, It really does mean a lot! I've been keeping an eye out for the 1/4 kit. I've also been running the speed cut nano on another saw I have, I'm really hoping they make a kit for the 2500T.
I know what its like having the wild things running around haha! I definitely looked at this saw, I went the a 36v makita top handle and love it around the house! It probably beats my 2511t I think, but my echo 355t is way ahead of it in cut times and weighs maybe less! I like the battery saw for easy starts and when you don’t want to make noise but the Husqvarna t540i looks to be the best even with the new Stihl that came out! Quite expensive tho!
You're running the wrong bar on that thing We use them for pruning and have the carving bar with 1.1mm chain we haven't looked back since Nothing comes close to them for pruning work
Nice review.

@@In-The-Trees Speedcut nano is exactly what I’m hoping to switch to - haven’t seen them available for the 2500 yet.
Thanks for the good content!
@shongiffin4735 Thank you, that means a lot! I actually emailed a rep from Oregon, They're hoping to make them available soon for Echo products.

Hmmm, that makita looks interesting! Definitely agree with the t540i leading the way. But it really is fun watching its competitors!
@@In-The-Trees yeah they all have their place for sure 👍🏼 also I have enjoyed your latest videos, eventually id like to do my own tree work also!
