Null hypothesis kya hoga wo kaise decide karenge? The opposite statement can also be taken as null hypothesis, isn't it?

basically, the one which we cant compute or challenging is taken as null, and the other is taken as alternate. Then we try to reject or accept null based on alternate hypothesis, as it can be solved.

Sir jb aapne observed frequency ka table bnaya to aapne 75 intelligent students liya lekin after that, why did you take 40 as their father....... I think the question says," In a survey of 200 boys, of which 75 were intelligent, 40 had intelligent father and 85 of unintelligent students had uneducated father."
