I took the iPhone 15 Pro Max with me in Venice to test its video capabilities and see what I could achieve with this phone in just a few hours of visiting the beautiful and unique city of Venice in Italy.
Needless to say that I'm pretty impressed with the image quality of this phone and the video that it delivers, especially when shooting in ProRes Log.
All of this was shot on the iPhone 15 Pro Max in ProRes LOG and Color Graded with my New Cinematic Luts designed specifically for iPhones.

Very close on buying te LUTS. One question tho: how does the luts look like on apple proRES HDR (not LOG)? I don’t shoot on LOG because of memory space, i have an Iphone 15 Pro!

Iphone videos are just magical. They are not the sharpest, but they just have that iphone feel to them. Samsung doesnt even come close

I'm very close to buying the lutz cinema pack you have , does the lutx work with final cut pro? i'm a newb to this stuff but have the pro max and wanted to do some pro res log 24fps 4k videos of my family

This phone really does a great job. Despite everything, I prefer my SONY A7III or A7SIII. Do you have luts for this profile?
Thank you. Yeah, it obviously won’t replace my Sony FX3, but I can definitely see myself using the iPhone instead of my camera in many scenarios, especially when it’s difficult to bring heavy and more expensive gear with gimbals and so on and yes, I do have my best signature cinematic luts that work like a charm with Sony cameras, the link’s in the description of this video if you want to check them out.

What is the best filter to be used while filming with iPhone 15 Pro Max, there are many kinds of brands like sandmarc filters neewer, moment, k&f and also polar pro, I know polar pro are best but which one should be used the one made specifically for cameras or mobile? Thank you

Beautiful, but i think you should have changed the spot, because the video you filmed with the iPhone 14 Pro Max was also this area i guess almost looks the same to me, I don’t exactly remember, anyway you are the best film maker.
Thank you, appreciate your kind words and you’re right, my 14 pro video was shot in Venice too and it performed really well, plus I live not far from Venice so that’s why I went to Venice again to film the video on the 15 Pro Max.

once they can successfully mimic depth of field digitally (which they'll probably be able to do here relatively soon it seems) with better depth maps, etc. we'll see a pretty big revolution.
what is lut exactly?
A preset that you apply to your videos for color grading. It’s like a preset for editing photos, only it’s for videos.

good quality , but ! no motion blur and no depth of field , at the endddd phones are just phones :'/

Lol dude…there’s not a single clip in 60fps. It was all shot in 30fps edited on a 30fps timeline but hey, keep buying subscribers 😂🙌🏼
Even though I like the video, it doesn’t look cinematic imho. When I think cinematic, I think 24fps, this looks higher than that. I looks more like live footage than cinematic. 🤷🏾♂️
