You guys bring a refreshing perspective to our beloved game - well done. As a Southampton fan for many years - I know how the heart feels to lose such a momentus game as this. Personally, at 0-0 HT, I had a horrible feeling the Albion would nick a goal on the break as Saints tired - this has happened so many times before!! Saints fans should know that 1 goal ahead in this league is not enough - they should know because so many times they go one up and then concede a goal at the end of the game - this time they produced the daylight needed. Saints fans should not be celebrating too hard at this time - a tough game at Wembley awaits. I wish the Baggies the best of luck next season - it`ll be tough going, but I hope they will be competing for a top 2.

I grew up in a town near West Bromwich and could have gone to Villa like quite a few of my mates, but I'll never forget the connection with The Hawthorns and fellow Albion fans from my very first visit. As cheesy as it may sound, I felt at the age of 10 as though I'd found a second home. I live far away in Devon now, but still feel the same. Well played Saints, thoroughly deserved.

I've thought all season. If Saint's hadn't had a poor start , they'd romped the league . As for us , we've known all along our lack of a clinical finisher, has been our downfall. But all in all , a great season . Now for the clear out and younger legs needed. If we're to lose a Centre back, i really like the look of Anthony Jones from Hull . Townsend needs replacing, he was targeted by the opposition again . Diangana again , soft in the tackle and loses the ball to easily. So id dispense with him , and any other out of contract high earners . Last word on Johnstone, love to buy him . But i think he's put himself in the shop window , and will be pinched by others. Enjoy the close season , and i hope to follow you again come August. 👍

As a saints fan WBA contained us well in the first half. You played well. Second half we got that goal and it put us in the driving seat. Good luck next season, we maybe playing you again along with Pompey and Oxford, so we will just have to wait and see. The Championship is a great division. Thought we were very poor last night. No creativity. Far to negative. Big summer. Lot of players out if contract. Need more creativity and a good striker. Coberan dine a good job. Home forms been very good. But our away form is shocking. Only six wins away this season. Not beaten a team away, in the top eight in the League. Need to improve this next season. Hope Mr Patel backs him in the summer.

Gutted! More by the performance than the result. Beaten by a better team but we never really got going. Moving the advertising hoardings certainly nullified Furlongs long throw threat. Moving forward we have to make sure we let most of the out of contract players go..I'd keep Kipre and Mowatt if we can. Hopefully we have some money for Corberan to spend and can bring in some young hungry talent as well as giving players like Caleb Taylor a chance in and around the first team. Next season should see us kick off with a much changed team and personally I'm excited by that. See you both next season.
I watched a post match interview on You Tube with WBATV and Jed Wallace On being asked for his reaction to the game Jed Wallace actually stated.."we lacked effort".."didn't get going".. This coming from our club captain who played..its his bloody god damn job as captain to make damn sure the players give 100%.. Unbelievable statement..and the rest of his interview was absolute garbage.. He like the rest of our senior players need showing the door.. There was more passion and desire from our fans than the team.. Embarrassing and a total disgrace..!! Also,..on interview by I believe Sky Sports, Carlos Corberan said he was proud of the players..HUH? After that garbage performance? I hope Shilen Patel does not see that interview or Corberan will be the first to be shown the door..what was there to be proud about..??

I know. Even at the league game I attended down there in November, the goading from a section of their fans was ridiculous, including after the final whistle, with even some older and reduced mobility Albion fans who stayed seated given some incredibly crass abuse. I pointed out a few individuals to stewards but nothing was done. Their stewards and police on matchdays need to get a grip.
Of course we was play off standard, that's why we was in the play offs lol we just wasn't good enough to get to the final, and we didn't even spend a penny in transfer fees, so finishing 5th was a massive achievement, we've played all season without a recognised striker but now we have a new owner hopefully things will change, well done on your great escape anyways.

Gutted! More by the performance than the result. Beaten by a better team but we never really got going. Moving the advertising hoardings certainly nullified Furlongs long throw threat.
Moving forward we have to make sure we let most of the out of contract players go..I'd keep Kipre and Mowatt if we can.
Hopefully we have some money for Corberan to spend and can bring in some young hungry talent as well as giving players like Caleb Taylor a chance in and around the first team.
Next season should see us kick off with a much changed team and personally I'm excited by that.

On being asked for his reaction to the game Jed Wallace actually stated.."we lacked effort".."didn't get going"..
This coming from our club captain who played..its his bloody god damn job as captain to make damn sure the players give 100%..
Unbelievable statement..and the rest of his interview was absolute garbage..
He like the rest of our senior players need showing the door..
There was more passion and desire from our fans than the team..
Embarrassing and a total disgrace..!!
Also,..on interview by I believe Sky Sports, Carlos Corberan said he was proud of the players..HUH? After that garbage performance? I hope Shilen Patel does not see that interview or Corberan will be the first to be shown the door..what was there to be proud about..??

I know. Even at the league game I attended down there in November, the goading from a section of their fans was ridiculous, including after the final whistle, with even some older and reduced mobility Albion fans who stayed seated given some incredibly crass abuse. I pointed out a few individuals to stewards but nothing was done. Their stewards and police on matchdays need to get a grip.

Of course we was play off standard, that's why we was in the play offs lol we just wasn't good enough to get to the final, and we didn't even spend a penny in transfer fees, so finishing 5th was a massive achievement, we've played all season without a recognised striker but now we have a new owner hopefully things will change, well done on your great escape anyways.
