There are a lot of stereotypes of INTJ on the internet but the INTJ in real life I've seen are more calculated, aware of their surroundings, and really good managers in organizing things like the stereotypical ENTJs are. Except as much as they always run into action, they always think one hundred times the consequences of these actions before they execute them. ENTJs are one hundred times faster when reacting to situations sometimes their bodies do before their heads could think of what could possibly happen because of these.
This makes me want to watch the show. I don't often see ISTP female characters in shows.

I'm married to a Korean so we watched Squid Game together. He's very much like Sae-byeok. I can totally imagine him act like this in that situation. Me as an ENFJ I actually bought the jacket Il-Nam wears đ I found him to be the most interesting character. Makes sense

I do this too! I type characters automatically in my head when I watch series or movies - it helps to better understand and predict whatâs going to happen. I typed them the same as you, so Fuh I know at least Iâm not off on my observations. Thanks for this. I would like to see how you would type an ISFP that might be confused with an ISTP or vise versa they can be kinda hard to tell apart sometimes.
One is generally more rational than the other (by rational I don't mean smart I mean that person would be more comfortable going by using their brain) and the other one is more comfortable going by their own feelings.
And also one would usually be more emotionally expressive than the other. When alone or when under pressure.
This video gave me faith for the personality-database site, as the top votes for each character are what you also type them to be.

That's interesting, it makes sense that Sangwoo would be typed INTJ. I binged watched Squid Game with my younger brother. He's an INTJ. He didn't like how this show made him feel at a certain part of the series. I won't say which part though because it's a spoiler đ but it has to do with the main character and the old man.

ISFP makes more sense tho, i don't see Si or Ne at all
He basically didnât talk the entire show lol so a little too hard to say. I feel like the ESFJ ideas came from how reliable supportive and trusting he was. He also felt a duty to save Gihun in the first episode and was always thanking sangwoo for the ride he paid for⊠đ€·ââïž

Thank you for this super well made and interesting video and yet again I would like to request a BTS members analysis.
Anyways, about squid game, I usually find xNxJ types extremely fascinating and they're the ones that I admire the most but this show really made me despise them above all the other characters in an ambiguous way may I say. They're highly aware of what is going to happen, they know what to do, they make you think that they could find a way to save everyone but they act selfishly. It's so smart yet disgusting.
The way Sang Woo was making great decisions that I probably would if I were in his shoes made me think he deserves to win. He was my favorite character the entire time. I'm also an Intj and I believe even the sacrifices he made were absolutely needed and he even saved the mains many times. But in every CZcams reaction I see people want him get stabbed in face. Does that really make me a bad person or do they need to let their feelings go for a sec and actually think?

I'm an INFP and my favourite was also him, I was just a little bored of all those morally perfect characters making all the predictable choices in every movie/series ever and Sang-woo was quite refreshing from that point of view (doesn't mean I like him as a person, I cried when he killed Ali lol)
No, you're not a bad person. You're being realistic. His strategy made me think that he deserve to win, too. When I watched how ruthless he is, I secretly hope that he'll be the winner while thinking "There is no way the director will let him win". But hey, it works for the plot, I guess. I'm ISTP btw, if that's relevant.
@@reysabelr4343 EXACTLY! THANK YOU! They don't think that their lovely protagonist jumped in the last second off the bridge. The guy that Sang woo killed had the chance to choose with a marble or go with luck but he wasted their time. Sae Beyok said "I want to go home now" before she died and the main said lets vote and go back right before Sang woo died. If it wasn't for him nobody would get the money. About Ali yeah I felt bad but he had a mother himself. He was nice to him outside of the game and he tried to win normally. Did they expect him to let go of her mother for a stranger? So happy to see you agree with me in general. Again, thanks :)

Fe isnât synonymous with being kind or nice - good or bad. Like all the other functions It can be powerfully used for toxic purposes. All it is a decision making style that prioritizes, keeps track of, adjusts to and manages people dynamics, social expectations, emotional needs etc
Many real life serial killers and even HItler have shown signals they used some Fe. But for evil and manipulation.

I initially thought Sang Woo was ISTJ but I realized he had a Se grip moment INTJ makes most sense to me.
I always thought Il-Nam was ENFJ but I have some feeling thereâs some ENTP in him. But thatâs just a half baked thought.
I think thatâs a great theory too! If we saw ilnam young and more of his thought process creating and instigating what he did I feel like his type would become much more clear! It was hard to know 100% when heâs doing all these different things and we only see him in one context!

Gonna be honest here I thought the main character was an ESTP
I believe il-ham is INFJ. The most extroverted introvert. He has a very chameleon like personality type, able to portray exactly the character he wants people to believe he is, using his dominant Ni/FE to forsee the future but to also see exactly how people will respond right into his traps.
And just the amount of time it would take to orchestrate and organize such a game really leads me more to the introvert side.
Especially when the entire game was to teach nothing less than some humanitarian morality.

Eric, whatâs the personality type of Dr. Mindy from Donât Look Up? Thereâs a whole discussion about whether heâs an INTP or an INFJ.
I would argue INFJ for Il Nam - he lets people come to him more often and is focused on his own experience more than the group's. Plus I think INFJs are more capable of being cold and distancing themselves from sentimentality than ENFJs
He doesn't seem like an introvert though and infj's first function is Ni which is more stronger in moral than Enfj. Fe is a judging function and how he strong he was with his judging doesn't make him a perceiving dominant.

Song Gi Hun annoyed the fuck outta me. He made so many shitty decisions and he seems stuck in his past. He always said things like "when I was younger, when I was in school". What I liked about him is his willingness to help others... Like tipping the gambling lady at the counter and feeding the cat. It's ironic cause I'm ESFP.

I'm dying to see one of these on XQC. His streaming career is unique in and of itself but there is something quite extraordinary about his personality that draws people in. He connects with people and influences them along the way. He grew up and matured on stream to thousands of people all across the world and while there have been some toxic moments that tend to immediately put people off by him he has surprisingly relevant, motivational, and educational morals and standards. In the past year or so it's been more apparent that he is embracing the role of an influencer by actively encouraging positive ideas. The occasional rants about body positivity, equality, voting, bullying, real life interaction, and even getting out into the workforce are becoming more frequent and feel like he is more stern in how he presents his feelings. I would love to see an examination of his personality type.
