It was an honor to be featured on the Misery Sequence alternate version. Can’t thank Kyler enough for that. Stygian deserves all the love. This album is the definition of angry, nasty and raw as fuck. The overall atmosphere of this release stands out above so many other current bands that it becomes a definite favorite and top 3 AOTY for me already.

it's really distorted, and the click attack of the kick exists in much higher frequencies than we'd usually hear in this music. i actually think the kick itself might just be super distorted. it's fucking sick.

What's up with North Carolina? They also are responsible for Sold Soul.... had to look up the members to make sure they weren't in this band... but the same state is proof of something in the water over there. That state is actually producing some Deathcore that I like which is as rare as a blue moon .... also noticed them incorporating some brutal slam spice in the mix which really helps. 🤘🤘

Bound In The Dirt, to me, sounds like it has early Chelsea Grin influences, specifically Recreant. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I want more Slam than Deathcore, hence the name "SLAM WORLDWIDE", I'm not a Gatekeeper, as you can tell.

Slamming deathcore isn't a thing. Deathcore just has slams sometimes, just like regular brutal death metal has slams. That don't make either a slam genre
