- Hey all! I'm sharing our evening routine as a single mom and Kindergartener in today's video. Our school night routine is filled with little tips and mom hacks for a (mostly) flawless night and school morning. I'm going to try the chicken and dumplings with biscuit dough my morher made that all the time from scratch when I was a child love it such a hearty meal great during winter season youre great don't apologize how you care and watch Sydney youre a good mother, I know social media can be harsh and people do say negative thing's don't worry 😊
Dough is not one of those things I’ve really tried making on my own just yet 😬 But I bet it would be even better!
I love the time Sidney go to bed! I used to put my daughter to bed at 8:30pm and her doctor told me start allowing her to go to bed by 7:30-8pm so I can have Mommy time. That was the best advice I got seriously. Keep up the good work.

I really wish I had this much time in the evening… and the calm of your house is great! I’m a single mom of kids 14, 12, and 4. It’s never quiet! I’m lucky if my little one is in bed by 8:30, since we can’t get started until closer to 5:30/6:00. My big kids don’t go to bed until 9-10, and I’m exhausted.

My kids are the same! 7/715 bed time, no later or they’re little devils the next day!
They get up at 530 am daily no matter what time I put them to bed so if we want any peace the next day, they must go to bed by 715 at the latest or it’s even harder to get them to sleep if we don’t as well,

Love this thank you. I have 3 girls 8, 5 and 2 and I struggle so bad to wind them down for bed. Bed time usually lasts 4 hours from getting them bathed and ready for bed till the last ones sleeping. They don't sleep unless I'm pretending to sleep or they would want to stay up too :/ they're hyper and hard work

Just ordered the superhero pack for my boys. They have very sensitive, eczema prone skin so I never buy fun bath things for them because I’m afraid all the chemicals will cause a flair up.
Same!!! Sydney has never been able to use other bath bombs 🙁 But these don’t bother her skin at all 🤞

Better her than me. As a kindergartner she has so much to do and learn and experience and that is wonderful. But, I would not want to face school nights, Sunday through Thursday, again in this life because with all the years even after K-12 I've had it with studying for tests and such. It always made me nervous, no matter how much I liked the subject or how good my grades were. Just my nature. Sydney seems more exuberant, but then she comes from a happy home to & from school and that makes a huge difference. School was a lifeline, a necessity for me in addition to my loving learning. Rituals and routines are so crucial to children and you are giving her a stable home in a lovely community with good friends and extended family. I, too, eyeball my measurements. A pinch of salt has real meaning to me. Chicken & dumplings sounds divine. It's cold here again. It is good to be careful you have few household chores left undone after supper, because you need to focus on work or yourself.
I feel the exact same way with having zero desire to revisit those school nights 😆 I had horrible anxiety with homework/tests even though I did very well in school. I put the pressure on me haha

Great routine! You have an amazing family. Is she fully toilet trained at night or does she still use Goodnites? We are going through that whole process right now with ours.
What a relaxing and informative video! My daughter will become 3 year old in two months. She likes to have some milk before bed too, but I’m concerned that she just likes to drink from the milk bottle…also it makes her want to pee in the middle of the night. Could you give me some suggestions please?
I never refuse her milk before bed or water at night & it keeps me up sometimes hearing her use the bathroom 😆 but she’s so thirsty so I feel terrible 😫

7:15 on school days & 7:30/8am on weekends 😃
What leave in conditioner do you use in Sydney’s hair? I like honest company for my 3 year old but interested in other options as well

How old is Sydney again . My little boytommy is going to be 6 years old February 25th this month . Yeah I have a little bit of a hard time getting Tommy to go to sleep on a school night try to get him to bed by 8 pm every night he has school on weekend he can stay up a little bit longer .he eats the lunch at school I used to make his lunches but stopped because he didn't like what I made I guess so he eats the lunch they give at school. Have a great day 😊💞

If you want to take better care of your skin please stop using makeup wipes! They pull on your face and cause wrinkles! Invest in a cleansing balm and cleanser and double cleanse! So much better for your skin! ❤
I know so many say this & I just can’t stop 😆🙈 I never feel like cleansing balms & cleansers take it off without a wipe first 😫 Probably a habit I’ll eventually shake but I need help lol

I have to use a soft microfiber cloth that I add some cleanser on and use to remove anything stubborn! There’s a ton on Amazon that I love. I also used to be so awful at sleeping with my makeup. Being a Mom is so rewarding but I’m so tired by the end of the day. 😅🤣

Do you ever get tired of cooking, eating, etc? Or the monotony of raising a child at times? You do seem to be thriving in the role!
YUPPPPP haha I love it to my core but I am human!! It’s exhausting 😵💫 I have found I have to plan things on weekends & get out of the house very often to keep things spicy 🤣
