Definitely think Raditz is an older unit. Maybe meant to come out with version Z or something. No new sprite, no talking animation during the active skill. This is like the LR SSJ4s all over again.

It was so easy to make him good, just give him scouter (he literally introduced it into the series), 50% damage reduction against normal attacks (Piccolo and Goku couldn't damage Raditz at all until they used the Special Beam Cannon) and boom, he is a monster.
It seriously feels like the people making the passive didn't even watch the battle.

There's no excuse for AOE being bad when LR Broly exist, he freaking shotting out 3mil with a guarantee additional SA and possible super effective, and his EZA is over a year old now, hell, even pre EZA he's still doing more than Raditz, yeah, a 2017 LR is doing more AOE damage than Raditz, the newest shinniest DFE
They should have given him an entrance animation where he activates his scouter before looking for goku(whatever restriction you can come up with to activate it),just to give him a little bit extra in utility besides being just a super battle road unit
exactly like entrance animation when you have a goku on your team or enemy and he does scouter it would make him viable
Not to mention a scouter would be actually useful in super battle road stages. Instead they gave him a 2 million attack stat (for most people who aren't whales) and called it good. He is the most disappointing unit I've ever seen to release on Dokkan.
This is the only Raditz DFE we will ever get. Its so disappointing that they messed him up so hard.

If you remember his fight in the anime he was dodging all the attacks minus the one piccolo delivered to kill him when goku grabbed him. I think they honestly should’ve had his super attack stack for 3 turns and gave him med dodge against 1 enemy, high chance against 2 or more enemies and additional attack with high chance to super vs 1 enemy and medium chance to super vs 2 or more enemies. There he’s fixed now he’s a god
I shudder to see him at 55%, he's definitely a unit ill wait to get than summoning for him since he really isn't fun imo. Shame since I was intially hyped Raditz was getting a dokkanfest and hoped he'd be as fun as Videl.

Raditz will be that unit we'll get in 4 months and never awaken/train, he'll just sit there in everyone's box, an level 1 SSR.
Raditz doesn't come close to Goku's damage, to Majin Vegeta's defense, doesn't have Kid Buu's build up or the utility of the Androids and he isn't insane on his own set up like Ginyu. He really is a mid unit

In Super Battle Road I feel like you can wittle an enemy down to less than 50% HP first turn then let Raditz pop off a 6 million crit AoE. The only problem is, a lot of the SBR stages his categories on already done. Plus he doesn’t seem very good anywhere else.
I just dont see the point, he can be good in SBR but the new mode is red zone and he is not even comparable to any of the recent DFE when it comes to being good in the red zone lol

@@thevipez8740 Realistically, how many new players are going to stand a chance in red zone? Truth has all rainbow, LL 10 units and even then he's still dying like half the time he's hopping into red zone.
Not every unit needs to be good in red zone, because one amazing unit isn't gonna help you beat Red Zone if all your other units die in one hit. Him being good in SBR is good enough because SBR is an event most f2p players can beat. He's not comparable to most other DFEs, but he's still usable and does have value.
We are closing on his EZA. I really hope i can use him in actual events
This is really disappointing. I know a lot of people were excited for raditz, an under represented character, to be able to do a lot of cool things and the BANNER UNIT is better. Hopefully
Dokkan gets their designs back on track before the Tanabata and ww celebrations. This just feels really shitty.

I’ve been saying all this Raditz needed to be good was built in additional, with med or high chance to super, or have his super attack buff stack for 3 turns instead of one. Either one of those would’ve improved him so much.
Radditz is so obviously the best unit in the game, what is Truth even talking about? He can clear *ANY* Dokkan event in *20 minutes!!!* Not even the 7-year anniversary units do that. AND, he possesses a scouter.
If I was in Dokkan’s shoes, I would make him the same but put one of four things in his kit.
1. Scouter (which makes the most sense)
2. guard
3. super attack nullification
4. a good amount of damage reduction.
It just suck that Raditz isn’t even that good, I hope they EZA him right away as a sorry we make a bad unit for April fools day gift.
He should’ve had dodge if you watch his fight in the anime he was dodging almost every single attack being thrown at him by goku and piccolo they could’ve given him a high chance to dodge and should’ve let him raise his attack and defence on super for 3 turns like that’s all he honestly needed

This units kit is literally the same as Chiaoman kit with a few little differences. I would say Raditz design is an upgraded version of Chiaoman only because with Raditz you have to get the enemy below 50% HP, whereas with Chiaoman your own HP has to be below 50%. I would say therefore he has niche use.

To be fair, he can do great damage against enemies with 50% or less, as he can get to 8m+ with having 50% crit chance, which averages out to 50% more than the attack stat you see, so we're talking 12m equivalence in those instances. While you don't get that turn one, unless the unit ahead of him does a lot of damage (or he double supers), he can be pretty solid damage wise in those instances (and yes, it checks with every super he does, so, between the built in crit, defense on super, and 50% or less damage boost, AA is the way to go).

I know Red Zone is just the new hard event of the game at all. And not everything is Red zone. But HOW you make a unit only usable on SBR/WT ON 2022? Nappa is great both on ESBR and Red Zone (atleast as a tank) why this Raditz sucks ball that hard? And why he is a AOE, when Saiyan Saga has the new Vegeta LR, Nappa LR AND THE F2P RADITZ as AOE characters? Raditz needed a SA AOE when it wasn't needed at all?
And why no scouter effect?
A really cool part of a kit would be if a unit tanks a super for under 500 or something a certain percentage of your total health is healed.
So like if a super does 50 damage and your health is half and the passive is 50% you fully heal. Obviously 50% might be a bit too much but it’s just an example.

it's unfortunate everyone downplaying what he can do but it's whatever can't make everyone happy, I actually like Raditz so I might just be biased cause he is actually really good, especially if you get an additional, it's like yeah he does supreme damage, but they make up for it by giving him ATK against 1 enemy, against single enemies once they reach that 50% threshold Raditz doing at least 5-7 million and then doing double that along with decent Defense if he can get an additional so he's far from bad.
People lost their credibility when I read a whole comment from another video of people saying Raditz and a GOhan unit doesn't have a single category together like they aren't apart of Goku's Family, it's hard to argue with people so stuck on being Bandwagons.

Its a Gacha game, every new summon character must be at least on the level of current meta power so a lot of people is gonna summon for him. Thats how this games work, powercreep is needed

Fun fact 200% LS with enemy below 50% HP is weaker then 170% LS phy ssj2 (untransformed btw) with worst links and around the same average def(same LS is better defensively on average)

What's the point of Raditz except for the Pure Saiyans 200% lead? It's actually unfortunate that such a good lead went to such a pointless unit. Hopefully we get another one next year or something. The biggest downfall for raditz is him being on good teams ironically (excluding low class worrier) he just has no reason to be ran on any of the teams except for his leaderskill once we get another 200% for those teams he is replaced instantly

Ssj3 Goku has been the best dfe of 2022 for the entire 1st quarter. Ginyu feels like videl felt to me on release: very powerful on 1 team, good on most others, except his leader skill was MILES better (now and in respect to release) Goku is going to age very well I feel.
