@@L2L732 This Jedi may not actually know it's Barriss behind that mask, but the call-out still applies since all the Inquisitors betrayed the Jedi Order and now hunt down and murder what few escaped the initial carnage along with any innocents who get in the way.
Reva didn't do anything bad like Barriss to become an Inquisitor. It was just vengeance against Darth Vader who she was after. That is very difficult from Barriss's own actions. Not all Inquisitors were bad to start with if you stop and think it over.
Though Barris leaving the Inquisitors was inevitable given her ideals, for the moment it was so interesting seeing an Inquisitor play the part of "good cop."
I figured her ideals would clash with the inquisitors and she would inevitably leave them. Only thing I wish they did was capitolize on Luminaras capture. Could’ve really been a redeeming moment for Bariss.
It isn't that the Inquisitors is not empathetic, since emotions is vital to forces user. However Darkside user, as they used the dark side, their empathy emotions became dull, while emotions around anger, envy, prides and the like got stronger. Which is why dark sider found it's hard to turns back to the normal/light side, because it's feel completely alien to them. It is like the opposite of under immense dread, the lack of under immense dread all the times, can feel horrifying in its owns ways.
Beyond the beautiful choreography of the fight, I noticed that the jedi, after defeating Lyn, went in for the kill...I wonder if that action - which definitely isn't the Jedi way - was a sign of the times post Order 66 (him having to fend for himself while the whole galaxy turned against him), or was another example of how far the Jedi had fallen post High Republic era and especially during the Clone War period

Killing your enemy, who is, in fact, an aggressive, bloodthirsty animal without a sign of positive sentience (can't say "humanity", since not all sentient beings are humans), is an ultimately good thing.
