Agreed. I have been there once for Monster Jam, and the view is absolutely incredible of the mountains, and city. I will have to attend a few games here, and BC Place. Hoping Mexico plays at Lumen, and Canada at BC Place.

I agree with you, but that stadium originally was meant for the Seahawks until Sounders came in and went Spurs/Patriots mode on everyone in the MLS. Plus winning a Super Bowl is probably on par with winning a World Cup to American eyes.

@@irhungry66 Actually when the stadium was built there were always plans to attract an MLS franchise to play in it. Even the field dimensions were widened and the sidelines were designed with a soccer viewing experience in mind. It was always meant to host both sports and that's how it was sold to the Seattle public.

I would be surprised if Seattle was actually chosen for later round matches even though I think they would fill Lumen if the matches were top quality.

@@thomaswright5492 it will be interesting to know how that process is determined.
I get it, NY, Dallas or LA will get the final just because of there locations media centers and travel access for virtually every airlines.
With 11 sites and 60 games in the US, that should be at least 5 matches per city.
Canada getting 10 games in two two venues and Mexico getting 10 games in three venues. All games starting with the quarterfinals all games will be in tune US.
So it will be interesting. It will also be interesting which teams Seattle will play host to as well.

(Granted nothing will be free) I don’t want to see any pay-preview bs! MLS contracted with Apple TV to stream all MLS games starting next season for ten years, so hopefully this will tie into that. 🤞
