when i do ebay i also heart the product and wait a couple of days because sometime the sellers will also send you a discount! i love when they do that!

Awesome video, learned a lot! 😊 One eBay trick that I really like as well is to add items to your Watch List, after which sellers can sometimes send you an offer on an item for slightly cheaper if you have it on your watch list! It's kind of a win-win situation where sellers automatically send offers to sell things quicker!
I do the same thing
They usually list it higher than it would normally sell for. Then the offer makes you think it’s a deal. I had a seller raise the price on their listing before they sent me an offer. Wasn’t a price decrease at all 😅 They just hoped I wouldn’t notice.

Intresting video man, I think them crown zenith pin collections are a great pick up at that price they are great because of the extra you get in them I have a case worth of them didn’t pay as a good a price as you but it’s hard in the UK have to be on it all the time and sometimes things just don’t drop in price!

I actually managed to pick up one of the zacian pin collections about 2 weeks ago from a local JB HIFI for only $38! Another tip I would suggest is research what can be price matched across big retailers.
I was shocked, they had it priced for $120, but because a Kmart 90kms away from where I live had one in stock they were able to price match it.
Did the same with a Pikachu Crown zenith collection box, and wish I had gotten in for the Paldea Evolved ETB fire sale a month or two ago 😂

Hey dude! Kmart had them up for sale for $25 a piece about a month and a bit ago. Only problem was they sold out in about 25 minutes and once it’s sold out a most places won’t price match.
But as Michael said, these big retailers hold plentiful stock of a bunch of Pokémon products and I heard from someone who works there that they just have a date on all the stock for when to reduce it
So you’re best of having a little look for 5-10 minutes a day (if you are an active investor) across all the big retailers just to check and see if they have deals on :)

I bought a Sun & Moon Base booster box from StockX for a low bid, but it was 100% fake. Super light box, wrong bar code, wrong color, typos on the address information, etc. Luckily their support was decent and I was refunded without issue.

Interesting that you can find good deals in big retail stores where you are. Here in Germany, Pokemon TCG items are sold x1.5 to x2 MSRP in big retailers (e.g. 45€ for Tin Box, 65€ for ETB). I have never seen any nice sales. I actually wonder if they will ever sell these, even with a 40-50% discount on these prices, I wouldn't buy.

How do you confidently avoid fakes? That’s my biggest concern with getting in to the hobby. Also do you ever buy from TikTok?
I guess it comes with experience. It's so easy for me to tell. But if you're new it could be a bit harder!

@@pokeoz91 No i tend to get sealed from shops as the ebay mark up is always a lot higher. say booster box on release is £100 i'd then look for card shops that have and introductory code getting for £90 instead sometime a litte bit more if it qualifies for cash back
StockX is fine, just DO NOT buy Japanese sealed products there. It's commonly used as an outlet for reseals - the authenticity check doesn't catch them.
