  • The Downwind Gybe is a manouvre that is easy to perform; however a lot of sailors use too much rudder which is similar to pushing on the brakes. It is very easy to overcook the gybe in light air so you have to be sure you are using as little rudder as possible. In this video, I will show you a technique how to keep the amount of rudder throughout your gybes to a minimum!
