  • We are planning our third MTB road trip from New York to Tucson Arizona. We have stopped at many places and rode our bikes along the way. Find out which stops were worth it and which weren't so great.

Prescott az. We have flowy woods trails, to rocky boulder tech and chunk. Lakes and nice scenery / variety. 1 hr to sedona. Weather depending.. Sometimes winter is mild and youre enjoying mid 60 degree days

Would be nice if there was a list of your suggestions in the description. I can relate to your age, but not your history and skills. I do appreciate your comments about not needing to get crazy on difficult trails to still love being out there.

Oh snap, totally forgot to add the links. Done and done. Should be in the description now. Enjoy. Cheers

@@cyclingskills it's nice, but i wish we had more bike parks... but we can have fun and enjoy the ride.
Another problem is the price of the bikes and the parts, but also we can have fun anyway.

Roanoke mountain bike adventures I googled charges $65 for a hardtail rental, $85 if kept overnight. I think that's common but seems steep. I'm driving through RO soon but will try another time when I can bring my steed.

Yeah, a hardtail is fine at Carvins Cove, full suspension would be more fun. Definitely check it out, the downhill from Brushy Mountain is worth the climb.
