Absolutely love it I guess the only acceptable time to take mana from hero with destroyer is when you know for sure it is going to die (like actual stun locked by a storm hammer and at 1 health and no way to escape)
There's actually a compilation of best micro moves in Warcraft and one of the top plays is where lich is running from DH and last second destroyer mana absorption saves lich from mana burn. Epic move for sure
Could you make Absorb Mana from Lich pay off if you had it preset so that Lich's skills include Dark Ritual, and you Absorb Mana from Lich and then use Dark Ritual on an Abomination?
I'd definitely love to see a Firelord spotlight video. Firelord was the last hero Blizzard added and it was near the time I stopped playing the game a year or so later. I so rarely see anyone choose them competitively and he felt super mana hungry.
Good video as always ! I wanted to point out in a unrelated matter that in the campaign you still have to build a Sacrificial Pit to build a Boneyard !! That's why some Bronze and higher people are confused about that. I think the campaign never got changed with patches the game received since the beginning. I discoverd the difference while ending the frozen throne last campaign :)

I think new players don't see that he is completely a support hero, they see a strength hero on a horse. Having that in mind, having him stand in the back, and not hitting stuff is not a big waste, since Coil is such a nice "clean" spell... etc...
Grubby, you said it's never good to take the nana from heroes. What about building temple, and mixing in some banshees to replenish the destroyer's necrolytes? Curse even let's you choose if that mana is going to mana or healing
@@FollowGrubby in your expert opinion is there any merit to the idea that a destroyer/banshee build would be viable and effective, built on the idea that the banshees are there primarily to donate mana to destroyers and use curse as an option? Since banshees wouldn't need training upgrades and destroyer orb substitutes the damage instead of upgrades, it might not be too economically invalid. Death pact and dark ritual can help keep banshee exp feed under control too.
