- The Denver Nuggets are a juggernaut and are reaching new heights this season on the path to repeating as NBA Champions. Nikola Jokic is probably going to win a third MVP and continues to separate himself as the best player in the NBA, Jamal Murray is playing his best basketball and always levels up in the Playoffs, Michael Porter Jr, Aaron Gordon, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are perfect supporting pieces, and their depth has held up well too. They've improved across the board and look seemingly unstoppable with the Playoffs around the corner. Let's talk about it.

A compilation of Jokic's passes is the equivalent of basketball pornography.
It looks good only because the defenses are dumb af. Just close the passing angles. How hard can it be?
@@berryesseen No.
@@berryesseenClosing passing lanes opens driving lanes, you have no idea what you're talking about
@@leustaba3723 Then close them both. And also don't let open 3s. It shouldn't be difficult given that they have professional players and coaches.
@@berryesseencmon now
The scariest part about the Nuggets is that they're not a great duo, it's basically 4 great duo's! Jokic and Murray for a nice 3, Jokic and Aaron Gordon for an easy dunk, Jokic and MPJ for a corner 3, Jokic and KCP for a midrange jumper. EVERYONE, from top to bottom, will be an issue if you don't focus on them
Problem is when Jokic is fauled out or exausted, and that can happen if judges are on oposit sides adn other team start throwing bodies on Jokic. So Denver actually have obvious weak spot that someone can exploit, although it is not sport spirit.
Jokić and the Nuggets, are the only team that makes me laugh out loud in amazement, every time I see them play! Joker is liable to make a pass you’ve never seen before on any given night, and that’s a guarantee! Add in the beauty of the team game and it leaves me chuckling to myself over and over! Go Nuggets! Davis will destroy Jokic
@@losrevolucionarios8858 maybe a game or two. Davis is too weak for Jokic. AD can dominate smallest than himself - including Giannis here and there. But AD and Jokic are the same height, except that Joker has like 40 pounds more and is built like a tank comparing to glass legs AD

nuggets are a joy to watch
Literally the Modern Day Spurs, awesome ball movement
Jokic and the 4 horsemen🎉🎉🎉
coach malone is a beast
If he has finally, after all these years, realized you shouldn’t play 3 PGs at the same time, especially with Jamal on the floor… we are unstoppable. It has been dreadful watching him for 10 seasons try and run 3 PG and 2 PF benches. He literally trotted out Jamal, Monte Morris, Austin Rivers, Jeff Green, and Jamychael Green. Malone is a great coach off the floor. On the floor he’s awful.
SOMBOR SHUFFLE, ain't no stopping us now. B2B
Jokic just pretty much the Sun and everyone else are the planets
His pick/roll is Sun screen
There is something Magical about how Nuggets play like a single organism.
Playoff Nuggets is a different animal. Specifically Playoff Murray. Dude goes from a threat to a straight murderer when things matter most.
Jokic plays the most fun offensive game I’ve ever seen
Nuggs are unstoppable. Only thing that can stop them is a injury to Jokic. If he has JM and AG, no chance for anyone in the league (.) No chemistry can compete with theirs.
Jokic durability is underrated. He’s played over 65 games in all 9 seasons of his career. This could be due to his play style-he doesn’t put a ton of pressure on his knees or ligaments because his game isn’t based around jumping out of the gym or burst. Regardless he’s been the single most available superstar since he won his first MVP and has never had a serious injury in his career is super impressive pushing yourself to play against and edge out the top world talent in a sport. He plays the game super naturally and his game should age way more gracefully due to his focus on finesse than Giannis, Embiid, or other superstars who are going to lose that athletic edge in their 30s.
Jokic has become a player coach and should be considered for coach of the year. His IQ and skills have improved every teammate through osmosis. We are watching the evolution of a great basketball player.
I have seen hundreds of times that Jokic explains to his teammates what they are going to do right after a failed possession. He also points with his finger where to pass sometimes. All of this happens without using a time out. I wish he would be interested in coaching after his retirement but this wish will never happen. He is just a great basketball mind.
As a Bulls fan, we hired the wrong Denver guy. Calvin Booth has done a phenomenal job building this teams from finals contender, to champion, to what i think now will be a repeat champion. Coach Malone also doesn't get as much credit as he deserves for how he keeps this team motivated year after year, especially coming off their first franchise title. Then Joker, clear-cut the best player on the planet, man does superhuman-like things on a basketball court and make it look easy😂. When you define great basketball, a team, and a champion, the Denver Nuggets come to mind.
Coach Malone was really great. I watch an interview of him here in yt, I think it was around 2016 or 2017. The reporter ask him about trading Jokic or sum and he said no because he think he will be great and saying that Jokic is unique and more. Amazing right?
@@watertubig4778 Turns out not trading him was a smart decision.😂
It doesn’t look easy. It’s easy. Jokic’s height helps him assist easily. He has better vision than your average guard.
@@berryesseen if its easy then why does all the center in the league doesn't have a high assist if they're so "tall"?

They remind me of the pre-KD strength in numbers warriors in a lot of ways
That pass at 4:22 was actually nuts. Got the rebound and just turning around throwing a perfect beam of a pass. Chefs kiss
This feels a lot like the beginning of a threepeat.
They are inevitable man, rooting for them if the sixers don’t make a run with embiid.
I'm surprised that the Bucks didn't get a mention in the "Can Anybody Beat Them?" chapter. I believe the Nuggets would be favourites, but it's closer than many might think, especially if you consider the momentum Milwaukee will come out with having beaten Boston in this hypothetical. They're 1-1 this season (a 17 point win and a 6 point loss in Doc's first game as coach), and do as good a job as any other team in the league when it comes to guarding Jokic. Comparisons aside, a Giannis/Jokic finals would just be amazing. We'll be seeing some monstrous statlines across the series if the two best players in the world meet head-to-head.
I get your point. I think the Bucks will struggle coming out of the East if they face the Celtics or the Heat. Just a couple of teams that can really give that roster a lot of trouble. Basically, the question, "Can anyone beat them?" is answered with an easy, "Yes, someone can beat them."
Giannis vs Jokic would be an incredible finals duel, would love to see this
@@GibranCamus-kr2dc I don't think so ... not in a (not fixed) 7-game series ... it's a math problem ... and it's not a hard one ...
Giannis can't make a free throw. Its the Nuggets and its not close. Bucks probably won't even make the Finals.
Denver beat Boston twice
I do not think that any roster currently in the NBA could beat the starting five of the Denver Nuggets in a seven game series as constructed when fully healthy
My favorite thing about this team is that it was put together organically through the draft, as opposed to free agent shopping every year like the Suns, Clippers, and Lakers. Those teams were purchased, not developed, and you can see the difference.
I feel like the only team that can really give Denver headaches in the West are the Timberwolves. They’re really tough and they’re led by Anthony Edwards, a player who refuses to give up at all. Last years first round was the toughest five game series I’ve seen in a long time, so they could also potentially cause some issues for teams in the playoffs
Great vid. IMO the best team in the association. However, you’re giving their bench a LOT of credit
If they get the one seed, Denver’s at least going back to the Finals. Nuggets-Bucks will feed families
I think they are in the position that their seeding doesn’t matter against any team. Denver will be the favorite regardless.
Crazy you think doc rivers will make the finals
This team is like thanos

No joke- Bones. If Malone had recognized you don’t play 3 PGs at the same time before this season, especially with Jamal… we’d be at like 60+ wins
OMG, the comment that you mentioned at the beginning was mine! Tysm for considering the comment!
Appreciate the comment! I tried to find it to screenshot and put it in the video but couldn't so I apologize
More secret sauce...they sub out Jamal early from the starting line up. They then put him back in with the second unit where he cooks and elevates that line. It's a on-two punch that a lot of teams can't deal with.
As a Heat fan, I hate to admit it, but they are going to win it again.
I feel like he is like this generations Tim Duncan with his career. If he wins MVP and another chip this year then he is easily top 15 all time
Jokic’s ability to manipulate the defenders’ expectations is out of this world. Most of the time, when Jokic does something, the defense looks clueless. You have to unlearn and relearn basketball to fix your expectations against Jokic.
You can't fix expectations against Jokić because Jokić takes whatever you give to him, he himself doesn't know in advance what he is going to do
I don't see how they aren't going back-to-back.
Let's go Nuggets!
Point about the nuggets is because they are a team play team. They share the ball true a lot assists and they are good at defense.
Looking back at the “But they lost Bruce Brown” talks is just hilarious
as a nugget fan who really grew to appreciate BB in the playoffs last year, let's hold that thought for just a bit. You are probably right, but still a chance you are way wrong.
as a nuggets fan i think we are a better regular season team than we were last year. it seems like jokic has a thing he does now where he flips a switch and just dominates at a level i havent seen before besides last years playoffs, which i dont think he quite had this in him last regular season or at least not to this level. its encouraging but at the same time last years team was probably a better playoff team with a veteran gamer like bruce brown coming off the bench. we dont have a guy this year that is that reliable in that specific role. brown had some huge games in the playoffs last year on both offense and defense and he showed up in big moments or when murray wasnt having one of his best games. im not necessarily worried but i dont think this team will be a better playoff team than last years. i also feel like if we dont go to the finals or win it all then everyone who has been waiting to pile on jokic and the nuggets will take their chance to do so but we will most definitely be better than ever next year with all our young guys like peyton watson, christain braun, and julian strawther taking a big step forward. i bet we take this summer to finally shore up backup center and it has looked like braun is in a sophmore slump at points of this year and watson is still just a kid. trust me if we are an early out or lose to the celtics this year...next year is truly the year to watch out. calvin booth said himself he's more worried about winning 3 chips in 5 or 6 years like the spurs than going back to back. which is why he didnt make an aggressive move at the deadline. hes ok with being patient and letting our young guys develop behind our awesome starting lineup. (i dont necessarily agree with that approach i think he should be all in every year in this window, you never know what could happen any given season, but it is what it is)
perfect team for jokic to feed
Agree
You want to know how ridiculous Jokic is? The NBA got two new 7-foot + centers that dwarf him. The last half of the year he's been working on (and hitting) Tim Duncan style bank shots to counteract the NBA's new size pecking order. Like, oh there are a lot of larger dudes now, I should learn a new difficult skill set in like five minutes to get around that.
You gave our bench far too much credit. It is not championship caliber and I already see it costing us at least 2-3 playoff games. They went too heavy on youth and future prospects that are still really rough and should’ve found a way to keep Brown for his defense
I don't think it will be a cakewalk like last year but they will still make it to the finals and win a good series against the Celtics
Nuggets gunna go B2B
This video screams coach Malone is extremely underestimated. There's a reason they adjust strategy so well - he is as good as his top players.
These next 2 games are crucial wins, if okc takes the L tonight vs Rokets and Nuggets win tonight and vs Minnesota its done
Perfect players to pair with JOKIC.
KYRIE and GIANNIS..replacing MURRAY and GORDON.
Kyrie has the entire lay up package perfect to get those cutting passes, he is a mid range shooter and a 3 point shooter.
GIANNIS would replace GORDON perfectly...
Nuggets this year probably, but I think the next NBA dynasty is the Thunder. Young enough to be expected to improve for many seasons, draft capital enough to trade for anything they want.
Most will end up in jail for rape or unlawful weapon possession .
Celtics will go down if first round against Bulls .
@@amiralsrbani24😭what?
Spurs with Wemby are also going to be really good in the following years.
Definitely...all indicators are showing it...and the reason why they're 99.99% to get their second championship....the Denver REALLY plays as a TEAM with ONE SYSTEM ALONE....
All the Denver's benchmen are stepping up to make a differense. I'm honestly not even sure who is in the main squad, outisde a few people.
Nuggets really are the new Spurs
Real ones what? What is that thing at the end lol
All being fit, Nuggets v Celtics Final. But anything can happen, as always …
You have to realize that you're supposed to beat the Nuggets 4 times. I don't think that's happening any time soon.
Was fun while it lasted but uf they face the suns or mavs in playoffs its definitely over, jokic looks tired and if murray isnt in the team is kind of ass tbh, at least denver finally got a ring, thanks yoke
I heard Boston has a great Rookie in 19 year old Tatum and a young wing in Jaylen Brown. I think they need some experience and Brown should improve his left hand and they will win a championship in the next few years
the only thing that might stop them is the 2nd unit, nuggets might have the worst bench among teams in the playoff picture(not play-in)
Can’t wait for luka to join em
Watching Giannis get bottled by the Lakers defence today made me appreciate Jokic more
If the Nuggs can improve on their rebounding, they'll be even more dangerous.
True but is also part of their game to have people abandon the glass so Jokic can throw a full court dime for free points
😂😂😂 back to back
Let’s be honest though. How good would the Nuggets be without Jokic?
when you include Basketball IQ (yes i watched JJ and Lebron) than they really have to be the most talented starting 5

OKC going to pull off the upset. People underestimating them, but on paper they have more talented players.
OKC not making out of 1st round if they match up against Lakers..if they dont then they going against Nuggets in CF..lakers only threat to OKC imo just based on sheer size
@@Hereforthelols I think OKC beats everyone in the West. The toughest match up is Denver just bc Jokic is so good, even though OKC has better overall pieces on their team besides Jokic being the best player in the NBA. But of course SGA is a top 5 player in the NBA, so he may be able to even it out. I think people will be surprised that OKC makes it to the finals. On paper they have the best team in the West. The only thing that may hold them back is a lack of experience. I’ve got OKC and Celtics playing in the finals. They’re a better overall team than Nuggets, Nuggets just have the X factor in Jokic. It’s going to be a fun playoffs. Sixers are going to be the dark horse in the East now that they have Embiid back, I wouldn’t be surprised if they upset the Celtics.
With Boston shrinking every year in the playoffs there is no team that stands a chance
The only team that can beat the Nuggets is the Mavs. Kyrie and Luka can pose problems in the pick and roll as well as keep up with the Nuggets scoring.

Nope.
Nuggets are far from being the "perfect team".
1. They do have Jokic (crazy lucky bet) and that's all.
2. They do not have a 2nd star nor even a single player that ever sniffed (or deserved) the all-star weekend.
3. Nuggets DO NOT have a bench.
Without Jokic - nuggets are an NPC organization.
It all comes back to Nuggets organization - it's a low expectation, never achieved anything, organization - filled with amateurs and led by cheap ownership. All they have is Jokic. That's it.
Let's be honest about it - Nuggets roster is pathetic. After #6 everything is g-league or retirement home asset. And Jamal Murray is an overhyped pretender that's rarely available or playing very good.
So, no .Nuggets are not the "perfect team" - to be that they'd need at least 2-3 more playoff quality level players. But they don't have that. They have pickett, tyson, gillespie, and Pwat (diapers wearing toddler).
Nope.
Everyone else used the off-season and mid-season to improve - Nuggets organization did nothing.
So, nope.
2: Murray is for sure an all-star caliber so that's false
3: Nuggets beat the Blazers with just their bench so that's false information as well.
Let's wait for the playoffs and you'll see the difference. You're clearly delusional if you think that they don't have a bench lmao
