So I decided to try another 5000+ guns after this video. Still no legendary. Is it possible?

I've mainly been avoiding these videos because I've got mos tof the weapons already and found out what they do, but I'm glad I didn't spend all my eridium trying to test something you've already done
You should grab k6 and two other people to do it all at once one of three things will happen a legendary will drop - no legendary will drop - the game will crash from to many guns

It really got me when typhon said “this ones on me vault hunter” and shoots a white out the gun
Yeah, that was weird. I don't know if I'm unlucky or if it is pretty rare to get anything that isn't white from his free drops

Update to this. They added an alt fire option with a cost of 250 eridium and you will get some legendaries now. It will spit out blues and purples occasionally, but usually gives 1-4 legendaries. It levels to whatever your level is, and I tested it. If you have it set to Mayhem 1, you get Mayhem 1 guns, change it to Mayhem 10 and you get insane Mayhem 10 guns.
The blue and purples are also uniques to quests

It is possible to get legendaries from the GunGun, but only when you give Typhon DeLeon 1 eridium when he still has the gun himself.
If you switch fire mode, button c on PC, you get legendaries. Althoug I think that has been added since you played. Anything from one to four legendaries for 250 eridium.

Using Moze’s Some for the Road skill the gun gun only costs 1 eridium to shoot

The fabricator is an amazing way to boost a low level friends bank account and therefore SDU upgrades. On my level 50 character I spat out guns for a minute and allowed my friend to get the max backpack SDU on his level 18 character. To me, that is hands down the fabricator's best use so far.

IMO I think the best use of the Gun-gun is to convert eridium into cash. Great way to max out SDUs! A single shot = tens of thousands of money.

The Gun Gun does give you a legendary about every 30 to 40 er., but only if you pay Typhon when given the initial option.

I used the Eridium bug and spammed the gun gun for 50mins and never received a legendary so unless the drop is astronomically low I don't think you can get a Legendary with it.

The same could be said here for the Eridians and why they couldn't defeat the Destroyer.
Physique probably. I don't recall if Borderlands lore covers it. All our Vault hunters are humans and robots.
Our vault hunters technically killed the destroyer twice. Once when it was just regaining its power, and again when all of its power was absorbed. The fact that regular people armed with some guns can basically kill planet destroying gods but the eridians can't do shit baffles me.

You can get legendary weapons from it if you pay Typhon to shoot the gun gun for you during the story, before he gives it to you. Gives you a legendary every 30 shots or so. Cannot get legendary from it after you possess it
I just got this gun today and I had a lot of eriduim and I picked them all up and sold them and bought all the sdu upgrades
I have this grenade mod that explodes 3 times per enemy and drops cash each time. it also homes, i get about 1.5k from 5 grenades lol its amazing

Everything I needed to know about this gun is summarized here. You demonstrated the gun, went to the extreme for details, and disproved a myth about it. All without stretching the video to 10 minutes and adding a bunch of fluff and giveaways. That's an upvote and subscribe from me just for this video alone and I'll be on the lookout for anything else I'll need about gaming in the future.

Hey Joltz! Not sure if this has been seen before but i might have found Timothy the Doppelgänger. In the Jacobs Manor in the servant quarters there is a movie poster about handsome Jack and at the bottom it says “Staring Timothy Doppelgänger” . Love the videos thank you and keep up the great work!
They added an alt-fire to it that can fire legendary weapons at an increased cost to eridium in an update
I find it disappointing that this is the only eridian gun in the game from what I saw.
Tip: you cannot drop it, but you can place this gun on the wall in sanctuary.

If you do not want to keep the gun in your inventory (even though it does not take a space) you can store it in the frames on the wall. Just a helpful tip!

If you don’t want it in your inventory, you can place it on your wall. For some reason you can’t put it in your bank so it’s a good way to store it when it’s not in use

It can spawn legendary, but you must use it as a purchase from the legendary vault hunter before you claim this item from the quest. Once you claim it, you cannot spawn legendaries..

Then it's pretty useless.
You can only get legendaries from the gun if you are at the point in the game BEFORE you are actually given the gun.
Basically be at the point where you can ask DeLeon to shoot you a gun with 1 eridium. He has the chance to shoot you a legendary. But that goes away as soon as you acquire the gun.
Just keep asking him to shoot you more guns and there's a chance one will be legendary.
Right now there's a modes that says "legendary" you can get epic or mostly legendary for 250 eridium.
Developers said when announcing the gun gun, legendaries are possible. It was the first question to the panel

If you don't want the eridium fabricator to stay in your inventory you can hang it up on the gun rack in your room on sanctuary
There is a way how to get legendaries, you have to py to that character to shoot you a few weapons and after 20-30 times you pay him, it will start spawning legendary guns.

And if you need any unique weapons/shields from quest, you can now obtain lvl 50 versions.

Bobo Segabab ya by the time you get it.. it makes money obsolete.. useless.. max out ammo/bank slots and hang it on the wall.
@@Nabernax well the thing is that if you put it in your bank and use it on a new playthrough you can some of your sdu's at level 4-5 buy time you get to Promethea (if you hoard your money/eridium)

Should just make endless sdus so we can keep getting just a bit more.. hell id grind for a 100mil grenade and then sum.. but I beat it a few times.. I just enjoy orchestrating out the death with quasar grenades and walking flame throwers lol.. first 2hrs was my fav.. after mouthpiece its fairly generic.. lectric city was intense first time.. once it goes to min max it gets boring now.. been doing it to long with to many games lol. Need something new every couple months. Then im good. Been covering Anthem since launch. B3 was a much needed break. Had some deadly laughs lol. Great game. Will enjoy messin around on it for a long time.
Bobo Segabab do agree tho. GunGun is an op money farm. I do enjoy using the tripple hit split money tracker grenade with my 100% extra cash artifact.. make crazy money and kill.. i tested it the other day.. made 24mil in one session, 3hrs or so.. so money is no obstacle.. can start a new run, find grenade fairly early and never have a money prob right away.. 🤷♂️ have to enjoy the gameplay cause progression is inevitable.
@@Nabernax yeah I kind of agree I think after you get the main 8 sdu upgrades there should be a system where you get half of the ammo at double the price like before it would be 100 pistol ammo for like 2mil at the final sdu but after it would be like 50 ammo for like 4mil and then the amount would keep dividing until your at like 1 extra bullet for 8mil so that way it will make money not that obsolete and it will also give people the option to grind to like 17 trillion bullets if they want too while still not being a very common practice, in turn, nerfing the GunGun to where it would still be essential for money but also nowhere near as powerful. P.s. by the 'walking flame throwers,' you mentioned I'm assuming that means that you also have the 'firesale long musket' (at least that's what mines called) and let me tell you even though tediore is considered to be average-below average weapons I personally think that it's the best smg in the game. (sorry if this is just one big run-on sentence).
A year later and this gun can now drop Legendaries
It's appearance isn't based on the kraggons, although I can see why you'd think that. It's based on some of the Eridian architecture like in the Pyre of Stars.
This is disappointing, because we see it do so in alpha gameplay.
Kaz, "Gunfight by The Moonlight," Miller there’s really no point in having the fabricator be a thing when people pretty much only go for legendaries
If you do get a legendary from it, its another gun-gun that only shoots legendaries
Another CZcams's did this test and found out that if you have it on mayham 3 and when talking to typhen before putting the vault keys for the machine after asking him to make you weapons 30 or 40 times he will shoot out a legendary

I don’t know when this was added but apparently now you can switch it’s firing mode and it shoots all legendary guns but costs more eridium.
I finished the story and in mayhem mode atm but I just found out you can switch it from standard into legendary mode. It costs a lot of eredium but I it just shoot out 6 legendary guns in 3 shots. Guys I'm fucking AMAZED
Now has an alternate fire mode to shoot out legendaries for considerable amount of eridium.
i swear i expected this thing to shoot guns and then make those guns fire an entire clip wherever they end up aiming at.

Me too, but because it used Eridium and I didn't have much of it in my first playthrough, I was saving it for the final boss... let's just say that didn't pan out too well for me
Borderlands 3. Welcome to a came that has so many guns, you have guns that shoot guns. It reminds me of Bahroo saying "gun does more gun" all the time in streams
You cant get legendaries from it sadly, but there is a way you can get legendaries from it. It sounds weird but the gun will *Not* shoot out legendaries if you are the one holding it. But, if you have not finished that mission yet and gotten the gungun off Typhon, you can pay Typhon to shoot you a gun (he offers to shoot some for you if you pay him before the mission ends). Then, there is a chance that he will shoot a legendary gun at you, and is thus a good method of farming oranges.
you can get legendaries but you have to get it from typhone delion, when you get in the temple where you put the vault keys you can pay typhon delion 1 eridium and you *might* get a legendary
u can get a legendary from the gun gun, if u get them from typhon, before you get the gun for yourself

nowadays you can switch firing mode to legendary and get it, costs 250 eridium, when I shot it I got two legendaries, one of them was brainstorm
Hit " C " key and change shooting type from common to legendary...it will cost u 250 eridium/shot but u will be granted 1-3 legendaries at each shot
So the developers actually spoke about it once before and mentioned that yes you can get a legendary. But it's extremely rare

From my own test, I have shot almost 100,000 iridium with 4 charges so far (in several attempts between 2k and 15k iridium in a row). There was not a single orange gun. Of this I shot exactly 1500 iridium directly from De Lion, not a single orange gun was there either. The statement of a developer in an older advertising video that you can get orange weapons with this is wrong!
Maybe important to know, I've killed about 15% luck (14.96% to be exact) with the Guardian tokens and used an artifact with "extreme luck increase" and the highest possible chaos mode on every attempt.
So the maker is only good for converting his Iridium into credits. But since you actually don't have any credits worries in this game, the part is completely useless... at least so far!
I guess since eridium is so easy to get theres like no chance it can drop legendaries. Hell it rarely drops annointed either
I usually get 1-2 annointed weapons per roll 🤷
You can get legendaries from this gun but not when you wield it. In order to get legendaries from it, you need to give typhon eridium when he presents you the gun. You are able to feed him 1 eridium per 1 gun he shoots out. You are able to get legendaries spending from 30-40 eridium, a lot less compared to when you use it yourself.
You have to pay him to make the guns before you take it from him the first time he shows it to you. Cost 1 eridium and you can get legendary. Mayhem mode is believed to effect chances.
It's possible to receive legendaries from Typhon when he has it. You pay him 1 eridium and get one gun, and that's how you can get legendaries.
You can get a lengendary but you have to do it earlier in the mission before you turn in the vault keys you can pay him 1 eridium and he will shoot one gun should see a legendary every 30 to 40 eridium

You can get anointed guns from it but I haven't gotten a legendary yet it might be updated with one of the events they have for the 10 year anniversary
You can only get a legendary from this gun from when you like first see him or something and he offers you ability to shoot the gun for 1 erididium you can get a legendary
In the few dozen guns i tried on this thing, i accidentally sold one of my legendaries that i had forgot to favorite, then sold too many other weapons and the vendor buyback couldnt get my gun back, theres only the last 15 or something in the vendors. So I got -1 legendary from it
This is here to convert your Eridium to cash and to make sure you have on-level gear, IMO. It can give you nice purples, though that's all luck and would probably best reserved for Moxxi's bar.
