I have a few of his knives and didn't know a great deal about him. The more you know about a knife, the more you appreciate it, I'm starting to realise.
Cheers, Eric, always good hearing from you, mate 👊

The Pilar is a great knife. I have the OG all stainless one, frame lock in 8Cr13MoV as well and I absolutely love it. 👌I didn't know it was named after a boat, that's really cool. 👍 Take care my friend and Cheers!

Great review Steely. Looking forward to seeing those new scales on the Pilar.
Managed to pick one of the HH versions when they eventually got some back in stock. Oddly I prefer my original locking version, love the additional weight with the framelock scales.

    Fantastic review!
Those new Maple scales look beautiful..
I’m sure they’ll look even better with some Danish oil 😎
Only recently got a Pilar (thank you @gadgetgus !!!🙏🏻👊🏻)
Great knife, especially for doing some work!
I don’t mind the HH Red to be honest but do like that these aftermarket ones are available 😎
Thanks brother, catch you soon 😎👊🏻

Cheers, Elan. I put a McDonald's M on the scales and did a nod to his collaboration 😂. I was going to stick it on the end but decided not to in the end. He cracks me up. Like Baxter, they are funny guys. We need a bit of that in the community.

Morning brother, cant fault the popularity of this knife it will look awesome with the new cms scales the danish certainly know what they are doing in furniture design and it seems knives another great video 👊ps danish oil will be best as it will give a nice satin finish 😁

I've got them on now. It's turned it into a bit of a chunkier knife. I'm using it a bit before my next video on it.
I was thinking about this whole Frost thing. And it got me thinking....this is nothing new. As you know, companies have been fraudulently using Sheffield names throughout history. A lot of the times, fellow Sheffield companies 😂. This happened a lot to the brilliant companies that fall under the Egginton umbrella. Cheers brother 👊

I have a few double detent knives, and personally, i don't trust any of them.

I got the Zome version of Spyderco Endura, and didn't like the pattern, (they are all different), so I got some RIT dye, and turned it black, 👌,, very easy, and a great result,
Well worth a go, if you have a knife you'd like to try it out on, 🤔
ps, no disassembly, just dunk, and leave it a bit, and thoroughly rinse,, 👍
