If the person who filmed the fish wanted to know where they came from why not just walk up stream from where they came from!! Simple!
For all you know, the stream could be miles long. In the middle of a desert. Probably not a great idea to follow along unless you're prepared to do it.
@@kylehayashi2054 Still, you would know of a big water source nearby. He could at least post the coordinates, so others could follow up. And still, why not just go home and pick up some water and come back. Who wouldn't curious enough to walk a few miles. Plus, no chance it is more than a few miles. Probably even less, as otherwise I feel like the fish would have swum upstream, so it seems like it would be a short section because of the lack of water. Tried to find the video, but couldn't.

- Another great video. Also, the fish river was a clever way for the fish these people were breeding to sell, to transfer them closer from the pond to where they needed them to go. It is a poor man's way, but effective. 😊
How would gills of certain fish be able to handle super muddy water filled with a ton of sediment?
Depends on the fish. Mostly its a kind of bootleg lung using the swim bladder or intestines or gills. They gulp air and the dense blood vessels in the swim bladder/intestines pull oxygen from that. That or through their skin.
