I really wanted to put together a three knife range of big or military types of knives. I finally did years later. It was Bark River Bravo Tope Recon, Harsey Difensa and TRC Apocalypse. I'm glad I waited and tried. I saw reviews of two on this channel now. I think they are good reviews!

I just remembered something you might want to incorporate in cutting that being polypropylene rope as it's about as abrasive as sisal to show it's edge holding

Excellent demo brother! I had one of the originals Topes is A2 but eventually sold it. I just never fell in love with it and as a result it didn’t get much forest time.
As far as the internet chatter about Bark River losing their mojo, it seems every few months a company gets “picked on” and then things quiet down. I had an edge chip the first time I used my North Country EDC in s45vn. My sharpening guy fixed it in no time and it’s one of my fav bushcraft knives. I have always and will always trust my life with a Bark River blade.

I have a first production run Bravo Tope Recon and it's absolutely a fantastic user. It chops better than expected for its size & weight and batons firewood down with no problem. Anyone on the fence about this one should definitely try it out. Great video showing the knife's capabilities.

Bark river Tope Bravo? Well, this is gonna be excellent. This is my current grail knife. The size of 7.5 blade is my favorite. Man, that thing is sharp! The handles are gorgeous. It slices all the hose like it is thin and crappy even the canvas covered and the red high pressure hose! It batons. Hey did the harpoon tip damage the baton? It can chop, with accuracy and power. I love this knife. Well brother great review and my thanks to J.R. as well for sending it out for review. Have a great Labor day Scab.

That is one hell of a beautiful and functional piece of art in your hand. There only thing, and it's just personal preference, is to have it in a drop point and while the mosaic pins are beautiful I'd rather have some bolts and nuts if I ever wanted to change the scales. Other than that it's the perfect size for a do everything knife and I love 3V in a fixed blade. Not 100% sure but it looks like it has a convex edge as well which will make that edge even stronger. Bark River knows how to make a great knife. Thanks for the great vid Scab and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

I really liked the looks of that knife so I pre-ordered it back in December and was happy with it when I finally got it in hand. I have heard the same thing about BRK but god knows I have a lot of them and they have all been fantastic maybe I've just been lucky..Man, it's been raining for three days here, and still raining now. I normally get wood handles I just love wood maybe because I've been working with it my whole life but have to say I took a chance on picking that acrylic handle and like it. Thanks for the Demo Brother the knife will defiantly work for me of course my comments are all over the place like normal ✌

His name is DJ Horn lol. I use strops and some some diamond stones to maintain my blades . But the truth is it's a time thing for me. I'm going to be with him probably in the winter and we will do a couple of series on sharpening
