My Daddy loved Mario Lanza's amazing voice and his wonderful recordings, he listened to him daily..... I remember as a very small three year old child sitting at Daddy's feet on the sitting room rug listening to Mario Lanza every night before bed time, I have always loved this wonderful man... This song has a very special meaning for me and always helped me through emotional times in my own life... I was only eight when my Daddy passed, my Grandpa, my baby brother, then sixteen years later my baby daughter and this song has always helped me come through those losses... To this day I still listen to Mario Lanza every day and his exceptional voice thrills me every time and calms my own soul.
He was born in the same year with my father, he sang the song in the same year when I was born. I like him, I like his songs because of the destiny we share internally.
Our whole family members with our Dad just loved Mario Lanza's songs especially I'll Walk With God. Such a blessed and beautiful song of faith and trusting in God! Thank you!

Growing up as a young man, I heard Mom And Dad Playing that song. The words of it has left foot prints in my mind and heart. Often times going through emotional problems , I focus on the words, very inspiring and comforting. This is one reason I can look on the world and smile today, I only live here in body , I'm not a part of it in spirit. I have always loved Mario Lanza since I was a kid and my dad would play his records. I now have many of his records and some movies on DVD. I still listen and watch them. Music does sound even better off the analog records and stereo's.

He Recorded The Student Prince Back In STEREO End The 50tees And Some Other Early Recordings Such As MARIO AT HIS BEST In HiFi STEREO Amazing Recording!!
Astounding voice, astounding phrasing, astounding breath control. His singing had ups and downs his last year or two, but this Student Prince album is incredible. In fact, his voice had become significantly darker and richer since his recordings for the movie version were made. Some might suggest that by 1959 Lanza's voice had grown well beyond the 'light opera' role of the Prince, but his singing is so darn magnificent here, Lanza automatically becomes the Gold Standard. IMHO, of course :)
His earlier (Student Prince soundtrack) is the better version but this is still up there with his best. Lanza sounds poorly and tired on this version, which he obviously was X
