Thank you for the video! We just played Pillars of the earth again after about 2 years and it was out favorite play. For first timers, all the choices can seem a little daunting but when I tell them all the choices are helpful, they weren't afraid to try different things and really enjoyed it. If the game master knows the game well, it can speed up the phases and that part gets easier with each play.
