Actually "Panda" by Desiigner is utterly underrated when it comes to the impact on Hip Hops commercial success. It's the first song in a long time that went Nr. 1 at that time. Just look at drake for example, hes more popular, but way less people like him, many people hate him, when kendrick is slightly less popular but most of people love him, and hes best rated rapper ever, for example tpab is only album ever made that is rated that good, 10/10, tell me better album

3 huge misses: Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise and 50's In Da Club are massive worldwide hits that everyone knows that changed the game. Everyone knows the first line of Gangsta's Paradise and it was written in 95. To have that written on the same line as Young Thug's Check is damn near sacrilegious. Also, I love these guys take but don't understand why they hate Tyler's early career. I think Yonkers will stay some of his most influential work. The wordplay and concept of Yonkers was outstanding... I mean my man was dropping triples... and along with a few other cuts on Goblin showed hints of where he would go to. Go listen to Black Skinhead and Yonkers side by side and I think you will see what the more amazing track is.

Lose yourself over rap god for Eminem.
I also prefer money trees over DNA for Kendrick. No role modelz should be in perfect. Aside from that solid list!!

    great video as always :)
but i do think that swimming pools is more iconic than dna, stronger more than black skinhead, marvins room more than headlines, and lose yourself more than rap god. i also think that theres some new songs that are worthy of being on here such as look at me by x, lucid dreams by juice wrld and pop out by polo g and lil tjay. all 3 of these are known by basically everyone and i do think will be remembered as classics

I think we all need to take a second and discuss exactly what "perfect" means because it seems to me like we are not doing the word justice. For example we have a short list with several examples of perfect songs. In my opinion perfect is a collum that we should feel comfortable leaving blank on every list until the very rare exception comes along. I'm not saying your choices for perfect aren't good but I am saying our bar might be set a little too low which is extremely easy to do because the bar should be set so ridiculously high that we can barely comprehend it.
