First time pulling a calf. Mini jersey heifer gives birth

Watch as I analyze the situation and pull a calf from a heifer. Heifer is a mini jersey 2 year old bred to a Dexter bull.
We don’t have any pull chains and I really needed something to help pull with. But the rope was just too thick.
After pulling calf I noticed she was stuck on her side by the slight hill she was on. Otherwise I think she would have done great on her own.

I grew up on a cattle ranch. I loved spring calves. My favorite time was branding. I loved the smell and feel of the time. I miss it. My dad is gone now and my brother sold off the herd.

If you don't breed your heifers until they ate 3 to calve at 4 you will have better luck
