I love the bench racers on here lol. Having had 2 modified C6 Corvettes, a 2017 C7 Z06, and a 2019 CTSV I can say the RS5 is a different type of usable fast. It’s quick stock and it’s easy to stomp on RWD cars from a stoplight. You can also drive far more aggressively/confidently in the rain. With about 2k in mods they are fast. I haven’t compared it back to back with my CTSV but then again I haven’t driven the CTSV since getting the RS5.
I’ve heard they drive awesome in the snow actually! Along with any RS model! But not a ton of people do it still, at least here in Michigan… Just because the salt on the roads ain’t great for them!
I love the q&a format. I have this car with dynamic ride control. It's horrible and that's what I'd change about it. Terrible damping, super bouncy with minimal improvement in dynamics. I'd ditch it completely.
Do you experience a jerky sensation when going between 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd? Dealership told me it’s normal and the rs5 just has “hard” or “aggressive” shifting
It's going to be jerky in all modes except dynamic. That's why most owners just set it to dynamic and never touch it. Also why a lot flash their cars with the stage 2 tcu tune. Basically eliminates all factory jerkiness and makes shifts instantaneous and butter smooth, the way they probably should have been from the factory.
@@erwinvanriel5843 You know I've had my car since new and never looked more into launching and maybe there was a reason I didn't. I don't need to and after reading your comment I won't. I'll just GET ON IT the normal way and enjoy the driving EXPERIENCE that way which I have. Thanks
modding these beautiful cars is insanely stupid! The engineering that went into them factors in performance for all likely driving conditions... the available kit mods only engineer the horsepower and transmission. Unless you have a crap ton of experience, and millions of dollars for experimenting, you will not be able to retune the suspension to behave safely with the easy to get increase in power.... Just buy an RS and be happy you have the fastest production daily driver in the world, and that it will last forever if properly maintained. SIGH.
Get the trans tune as well, next level 👍
Who does the trans Tunes?

It is trans tuned

Yes it’s a totally different animal! Very well said!
He said it hugs like no other car...says the 20 year old with no experience 😅
Is this the 2022 model?
best upshifts tho
How is it in the snow?

Alright, I’m getting one.
Heck yeah!
@@MaxHPowerpicked up my 2019 RS5 on Friday. Next is the tune!

Thank you, I’m glad you like it!! And Whoah that’s interesting to hear, thanks for your input!
Most of them seem to have Dynamic Package which includes DRC, and yes it is very bouncy. Not sure who at Audi signed off on that suspension.

Feel free to message the owner that question! I linked his Instagram in the description!👌🫡
That is completely normal in sport mode
If you buy a transmission mount it will probably help

I have the 2019 RS5 as well all stock. How do you do the launch? Is it in the manual?
Nice!!! And I’m not sure how the owner did it, but yeah it’s probably in the manual!😄
Dynamic mode, foot (hard) on the brake, mash the throttle, wait for the boost to build (watch the boost gauge), release brake.
@@RaduBogdan2k Thanks for that info. Can't wait to try
Launching only damage the car .
Never use that

Is the TCU tuned also ?
Yes I believe he had that tuned as well!
@@MaxHPower 93 octane ? I’m asking because i have the same car and i’m thinking about tunning it.
@@mckenzie546a little late but absolutely do it. I’d do the ECU and TCU before anything else because of the ROI for cost

Hmm, to each there own I suppose! Stock RS’s won’t typically be up front on a track… But yes, they may be safer!🫡👍
Isn’t the Audi cornering crap as evidence as there slow Nuremberg times?
Compared to an exotic supercar probably, but it’s wild for a 4-door sedan haha😅😂
