Would love to hear your thoughts on COVID precautions for people in high risk (me). I am already in isolation as per Dr’s recommendation.

Hi Linda Lou, I hope your doing well, sorry to hear you are at high risk, its a sad time for the world and being high risk must be that little bit more stressful, I will pray for you, I had an illness that took over my life and was horrible but Jesus gave me a miracle and healed me, He can do the same for anyone, He loves us, Its as simple as asking Jesus into your heart to be your personal Lord and Saviour, and believe me your life will change for the better, God bless

Bravo Tyler I’m so happy that you are doing very well, I’m sure you will be fine during this whole covid mess. I too am still on immunosuppressants 15 months post Allogenic Transplant. I had a scare last week had a constant low fever and then congestion, this Monday I was swabbed for everything in an outside Triage and fortunately I tested negative for Covid-19 but before those results came in the test for Hmpv came back positive. So yes I have a respiratory infection but I am handling it quite well. My wife has been working from home all week and the kids have been at home with me since last Friday, now homeschooling. I also am fortunate that the company that I work for offered paid 2 week covid leave for high risk employees and I tacked a week behind it. I probably have to use all my time off , but as you know whatever it takes. Again a big congratulations to you from Joe in sunny Florida 🌞

Somehow I missed this one - man, can't express how happy it makes me to hear that you made it. I am also still in remission, but a mild GVHD is bugging me, but hey, I am glad to be alive after all of this. What kind of T-Cell therapy? Where can I get more info? Best wishes!
Great to hear about remission, congratulations. Yes, GVHD is so common post transplant it seems, I hope its improved, and if not, I hope that its more tolerable.
It was a CTL, Cytotosic Lymphocyte Therapy, through a US company that is doing international trials :) Not exactly the same as CAR-T cells, as those are engingeered cells, but these are harvested cells that are similar to the recipient and specific to EBV :) Best to ask at your hospitals if they are doing trials etc. to find out more :)

@@TylerBlah Lived everywhere brother, firstly Newcastle, then I joined the army about 20 years ago, spent some time in a radioactive area where the englsh let atomic bombs off. Have a few haemo issues, and thats what we believe why, then moved to sydney, then to wollongong, then back to sydney. Sorry bro but I couldnt leave our beautiful beaches and our Koala who says hello to us in the morning without fail to live anywhere else in the world..
@@TylerBlah Oh sorry you actually moved to Australia. The bone marrow transplant wasnt the most fun in my life. Spent a few days in ICU in St Vincents when i developed Sepsis my blood pressure was down to 70 -30.. Did you have yours done in St Vincents ??

Do you have advice on vitamins a good quality vitamins or are they all the same? Do you recommend Chia seeds?
Hey Stormie! Just a good balanced diet is important, you should get all of your vitamins that way! And chia seeds are always a good addition to most meals anyway, anda great egg alternative i find for pancakes!! :)
