The Cleveland Browns roster compared to the rest of the AFC North

The Cleveland Browns roster was built differently for '24 but the expectations are still high.
The OBR's Jake Burns joins to talk on Deshaun Watson and how the Browns and two other AFC North teams are all having some questions in regards to the quarterback position.
The schedule is much more difficult for 2024, Cleveland will seeing several teams who were in the playoffs last season.

If quarterback play sucks , we have problems. He can not play like he is 21 anymore. N god , we need chubb to come bck n stay healthy. Our defense is retarded good

You mentioned the scheduling luck the Browns had last year. I think the Browns defense is overhyped. Not enough folks are realizing just how much of their gaudy stats came from bad weather or bad/backup QBs. Check out the defense statistics against QBs with a pulse, or on the road.

Browns defense is “solid”, but I completely disagree with your assumption that the schedule isn’t daunting (assuming health of course) . The difference between the grouping of QBs they faced in 2023, is as wide as the statistics suggest. Then they get run out of the building in a WC playoff game.
I’m not sure where your confidence in 2024 comes from against good teams/QBs. Cause in 2023, they regularly got gashed by good QBs teams. Not sure counting on rainy windy weather for when KC or Chargers come to town is reason for confidence

I forgot about Tenn and currently unsigned backup QB Ryan Tannehill . Browns defense played 7 QBs who will start 2024 as a backup, and may be 8 if the Raiders choose A O’Connell. Look just how crazy different their defensive stats are against those 7 bad QBs/teams, compared to legitimate starters they faced in 2023. It’s crazy. Unless they luck out again, I think some in Cleveland are gonna be disappointed with that “great” defense
