There are so many remarks about the faithful jew. What stands out to me is that all biblical folk believed the voice they heard as God speaking to them. As a Christian, our walk seems very different. Spotted with lack of roots in Israel's culture. We get scared when voices are heard. For our culture debates psychiatry, sadly weakening the whole redeemed experience. From experience, so much noise clutwrs our lives. Time has sped up, in that we are kept so busy . The system that blinds. So a reset back to less cluttered lives. And very lax time scedule. To quieten our minds to open up the heart n mind and ponder the word. Meat needs time to chew. Choking risk deters many from biting a chuck of the steak off the word. I'm so thankful the word consumed daily in small or large doses is bal of Gilead and water on the inside. They bubble up and out of you when one needs it. More a light bulbs on the inside, then a Jonah type experience. Types tho, patterns yes, amplifying. Shalom
