A family friend of ours bought an 80 Z28 brand new then a few years later traded it for an 82 Corvette Brand New.. I was 11 or 12 years old at the time... And it could explain my love for Model Cars-( As well the 68 Plymouth Road Runner my Dad had and the 75 Pontiac Gramd Prix LJ my folks have now lol😅!!)....
I’d take the corvette out of that lineup. Sounds like a great place to grow up!
Ok your saying someone bought a new 1980 Z28 price new 8000 - 9000 dollars depending on options had it for 2 years and traded it for a new 1982 Vette that costed 18,000 dollars new in 1982 with no cash involved
I'm pretty sure a 5 speed wasn't available in a 5.7 iroc, only a 5.0

I won't miss it l have a inferno orange 2011 with a new GM Performance LS3 495 crate engine and a Circle D 4200rpm lockup stall converter with a ton of upgrades one piece aluminum driveshaft and tuned and running on E85 to name a few

@@PistonTrends When the "new" Camaro came out in 2010, I was astonished. What a pig! My good friend had a 1970 Z28. Sweet! Also I've owned three C5 Corvettes and I'm saddened how Corvettes now look like Hot Wheels models.
My full interior with AC 3920 pounds 2011 Camaro SS with me in it pig runs 7.22 at 96mph in the eighth all motor with 1.70 60 foot times and cruises 80mph at 2100rpm on the highway smooth as butter with a new extremely mild GM Performance LS3 495 crate engine on E85 with stock 3 27 gears and a Circle D 4200rpm lockup stall converter and a one piece aluminum driveshaft to name a a few upgrades completely stock it ran 8.60s at 82mph on drag radials
