  • Welcome back to SoCal Outlander ATV! In Part 2 of our thrilling off-roading adventure through the Juniper Flats region, we pick up where we left off, navigating our way out of the wrong trail and heading towards a kiosk at a trail junction to regroup. As the rain intensified, snow flurries began, and half of our group decided to head back to the staging area, soaked and cold.
The six of us who remained decided to press on, just 6 miles from our goal of reaching Big Pine Flat campground. However, as we gained altitude, the weather worsened, and the cold became unbearable. With only 3 miles left to go, we collectively agreed to turn back for safety. Unfortunately, the recording cuts off suddenly due to the harsh conditions.
Off camera, we faced another challenge: one of our fellow riders who left earlier had ATV issues and went off searching for help. Thankfully, we found him in distress and were able to assist. As we descended, the weather cleared, and we decided to make a campfire and enjoy the food we had planned for the Big Pine Flat campground.
With full bellies and renewed spirits, we continued our journey back to our vehicles. The adventure didn't end there, though-I lost my supplies bag and camera tripod and had to return to find them along the trail.
Join us for the conclusion of this unforgettable adventure, filled with camaraderie, unexpected challenges, and the raw beauty of the Juniper Flats region.
