- These are our favorite breakin' routines from R16 Korea World Championships 2013.

While the commercial term 'breakdance' has been around in the 80s, the real name for this art is breakin' or bboying. The title was merely used to get your attention, but who the hell reads a CZcams info description box anyways? ;-)

It's because he's so short that's actually an advantage to him, he has developed allot of upper body strength for his size that makes shifting his weight allot easier, that's why he makes it look so easy but its because his body is conditioned to do it. He's probably the best I've seen in such a long time.
Pocket is sickkk, he's no bboy junior but probably close to as strong

Morning of Owl are fucking beasts. Between the fresh/innovative style of Issue and those sick powermoves of Pocket, plus the solid teamwork, it is just one amazing performance after the other.

Man, Korea really does have amazing bboys. They're a great source of inspiration to me, so much vocabulary, attitude, creativity and coordination going on. Not just the usual moves, there are movements I've never seen before, like some of the Morning of Owl ones

This is freaking crazy!!!! These guys are amazing as hell. I used to break dance for fun back in the early 90's, and wow they have brought up BD into 9 tier level from what I remember! Simply amazing! And funny too!
I know in life each to their own but to the 231 people who dislike this video you need your heads tested in my eyes,just the time & effort put in to get to this level deserves recommending I believe l.

+SoCalFreelance Because it's art and art is subjective. You can't unanimously decide who wins gold medal in breaking because everybody's different. In sports there is always a score and a world record to beat.
+Angus Helldin I was half joking when I wrote that, but in all seriousness I think the moves in breakdancing could be judged just like moves in figure skating or gymnastics. It's an activity with international appeal that is physically demanding requiring genuine athletic skill. To us watching this video we can clearly see some b-boys are better than others It would be even easier for knowledgeable judges to rank difficulty and skill.
SoCalFreelance is figure skating and gymnastics in the olympics? If so, you're completely right. You'd have singles or group dance routines, but probably no battles or ciphers.
