Amazing group of people
I've seen them 3 months ago and they came outside to shake hands and talk to us in New Haven, so I can vouch for them and say they really appreciate us as fans of their music and I saw them unload the merch themselves outside way before the show started like around 1:00pm and had to perform at 10:00pm. What Erick is saying is true at the end.

WARNING: i'm just expressing my views on the album pretty much.
Personally, I loved the new album, but I have to admit it was lackin'. The verses and lyrics were great, but my only issue is with the instrumentals. Erick could have made more than half of those beats with one hand tied behind his back. In fact, the only ones that really stuck out to me where "The Odyssey", "Good Grief", and "Your Favorite Rap Song". But wait! I am not in ANY WAY telling Erick he fucked up. Prior to 3001, in their 2 mixtapes - DRUGS and BetterOffDEAD - Erick used samples heavily, like, as in almost every song. While most producers use them as a way to be lazy, Erick used them how samples are meant to be used. For example, a track on DRUGS titled "Friday" combines Rob Ayers Ubiquity, Mary J. Blige, and Dr. Dre into one track, and it is great. Now that they made an official studio album, there are a lot of issues with samples/copyright, so they had to tone it down a bit. I still love the album tho.
Codiola The only reason that 3001 seemed light on the instrumentals was because obv since it's a profit making album they gotta get clearance for the samples they use. If the samples Erick tries to use get shot down obviously they cant really use the samples they wanna use
