That dragstrip accident is a great example of the comradery between these drivers.

The first one is an example of this sport at its best- that driver definitely deserves kudos for coming to his fellow racer’s help.

Bowman Gray can hardly even be classified as a race track. It's more of a demolition derby circuit in my opinion. Kind of like "on road" enduro racing where the fights are more entertaining than the racing
@@brandonwright7950 This. I've tried watching racing there so many times but every time I just get bored and turn it off and go watch some other short track with more entertaining racing. If the fights are one of the only entertaining things, you've failed as a race track.

The 15 car spinning him was uncalled for. The official should have give the 4x car his spot back since he was intentionally spun out. I would do the same shit you spun me out for the lead with 4 to go. Fuck your car if that’s how you feel about mine when you spin me. The 15 car is a terrible racer. Let a big late model guy do this like madden did, everyone going to bash the guy that spun the 4 car. Dude should have lifted. The 4 car was ahead of him anyways

@@aidanwidick4162 he lifted but used no brakes therefore he is at fault. You can’t just lift and expect at 80+ mph to slow down when you’re already almost touching the guy. The 15 car is in a crate late model class for a reason🤷🏼♂️🖕🏼

There's a video floating around youtube clearly showing that he lifted and was trying to make a last lap pass, he just had too fast of a closing rate to avoid the contact. That doesn't give the 4 the right to shove the guy off the track towards the crowd. Your opinion is pretty unhinged my guy and I'm glad that you're just a spectator.

Yeah, never ever touch an official. We have banned multiple drivers from ever coming back because of violent behavior and threats. It's bad for business when a driver can't accept losing.
So spin a guy out for the win your fine but wreck him and you get punished. I agree with the ban because they have to find a way to keep the drivers safe but why not send the guy to the tail that spun the leader on the start before. A few tracks around me used to do that and for the most part it kept these kind of situations at bay. So in summary the retaliation was bad and was rightly punished, but this all could have been avoided if they punished those that cause wrecks not those that are taken out in all situations.

No, what happened was they were battling all race, slaney (the 4x) on multiple occasions pushed brown jr (the 15) to the top and nearly wrecked him a bunch. Slaney did it again with 1 to go, but this time tried to take the top side way way to late, and brown jr accidentally got into the back of him, not intentionally at all. So yes, slaney being banned from placerville forever is 10000% acceptable

I ran one race in the 80's with a 1970 Olds 98, the car lasted one race.

How dumb you gotta be. One slaney was blocking Brown the last 6 laps and slowed his car in front of brown. Brown lifted and was to late. Slaney then proceeded to try and keep his spot during the yellow went into the pits after forced to the back and went back on track held back before a yellow btw Brown never had any other issues throughout the night. And was just faster than Slaney. Slaney held back and wrecked the leader not only was it a shitty move but a dangerous move even if Slaney was spun out it wasn't justified to nearly flip brown
