The first clip of the snow plow shooting snow onto the other side hitting cars with the snow. That was in Cleveland, Ohio. Yeah he was fired from the city & charged for what he did.

@@chrishansen5784 It doesnt matter how fast people were driving. That much ice/snow splashing on the cars on opposite side of the road would have caused an accident. The purpose of a plow is to sling that off the road not onto cars driving the opposite way.
He was driving an ODOT plow.
6:27, that is the epitome of stupid. How deaf/blind do you have to be to try and cross train tracks at 2 miles per hour, when there are bells going off, a train is blasting its horn at you and is CLEARLY visible?!? All of these drivers are idiots, but this one takes the cake, there are so many warning signs! It takes common sense to realize that is a bad idea.

I was looking for this comment, that clip made me scream “the fuck are you doiiiing?!” repeatedly. The fact that the driver had more than enough time to make the decision to stop there or continue, and choosing to keep going, stupidity at its worst.
@@UsagiPonPon My guess is, the driver was on a time crunch and misjudged how far away the train was. It doesn't excuse their stupidity though, just my theory on why they went.

@@nosir1440 I do like Garmin systems. You don't have to go super expensive, but something with good sound and video quality. Be sure to get a decent memory card, so it can record longer than 15 seconds.

Ever since I started leaving 10 minutes earlier for wherever I am going, my driving life has improved dramatically. All that rushing nonsense instantly evaporates.
See but then there’s people like me who will leave 10 mins early yet still arrive 20 mins late…even if I’m rushing…Where did 30 mins of my time go when it only takes 15 mins to get there 🤣 it’s a mystery that’ll never be solved.
I’m a delivery driver, so I constantly see shitty drivers. It’s so infuriating because it’s in the middle of a week day. If they’re not at work they have no where important to be where they need to speed

My dad retired from the Los Angeles Police Dept after 30 years. When I was a young girl, I remembered him saying "We know your horn works, now how about your brakes?" whenever he heard someone honk their horn at someone else. I still think of that phrase whenever I hear someone honking their horn.😄
When there's time to honk before you brake, everything went fine.
Did you know at 2:11 If you pause right before the black car hits the camera semi you can see that there's a child in the backseat I think

This series should be mandatory viewing in drivers' ed classes to show just how easily stupid driving can screw up an otherwise ordinary moment.

A lot of others have commented that the idea of showing this in Drivers' Ed is useless since new drivers today will be distracted by their phones no matter what we (pre-cell generation) do; I disagree; it's not just phones that cause accidents. To a large degree, it is excessive speed and arrogance. If you show these clips to younger drivers used to seeing similar mistakes in video games but now with real consequences, commentary ("Oh sh*t!!") and compassion in those who stop to help... it could make a difference in their future habits.

It truly doesn’t matter if they see these, in my driving class they showed a video of a girl texting and driving w her friends in the car and she crashed into another vehicle and killed a friend and a few in the other vehicle, all the while most of the other students in the class were laughing .. it was sickening. Even though it was a fake video, that type of stuff happens multiple times a day, and it honestly made me tear up because of that thought while watching it. It just shows how immature and disgusting a lot of these people are, adults included.

I counted 10 barrel rolls by the dude in the white car at 7:00. All caused by the dash cam footage submitter who randomly changed lanes without checking first...
Yep. I hope he was never allowed to drive after that and I would the victim in the car that barrel rolled survived because that was a nasty crash.
Well to be fair, the white car looks like it was doing a ridiculous speed, could have been farther back and the camera figured he had lots of room but couldn't tell the others closing speed
I highly doubt the driver in the white car survived, but it would be a miracle if he did.

Formally according to the signs he had to yield. That's a typical Russian situation when signs are not installed according to the official zoning. Quite likely officially it is not an intersection that's why there is no 'Yield' sign: vehicles from adjoined or settled territory should yield to vehicles going on the road (100 yards from here there is an official intersection with 'Yield' sign), but 100 yards rear there is a sign 'End of settled area' and then sign 'Crosswalk' along with crosswalk road marking which should mean this is a road, not an adjoined territory (crosswalks are made over the roads according to the rules). If it is a road, people driving from the left should yield (driving through the intersection of the equal roads, yield to your right; roads are equal because they are both paved).

Every time I watch one of these I'm amazed at how many people SHOULD NOT be behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. It's scary.
Many times I expect the doors of the car to open and the 12 year old who stole and hotwired it to run away into the distance.
You shouldn’t get your license at 16 and then have it for life. There should be an age where you have to retake it. I see too many 60 year olds almost kill people

You have those people and then on top of that you have people who would rather just lay on their horn rather than take defensive action to avoid a collision. People get too caught up on "fault". Even if the potential collision wouldn't be their fault, a good driver will still take action to avoid a collision if it's safe to do so.

А так в Нино бардак со знаками, разметкой, на Гагарина - Терешковой отрывают знак только направо и сплошную замазывают... ГИБДД говорят, там что мол местные жители это делают, а следить не следят.

The reason he didn't reverse and get out of the way is because he was hoping the truck would do more damage to his vehicle. Seriously tho! It is always a pet peeve of mine and angers me when I see these dashcam videos. Why would you drive in the same direction as the other car? Logically you would go the opposite to avoid colliding. If they’re going left you go right and visa versa. People need to learn better defensive driving.
Well that's instict. When something comes from the left side, you instictly move to the right side to avoid a crash.

It's literally 50/50 situation, whetever the car stops or keeps going, most people assume that car who came in front of you will stop, so they turn towards front end.

A Crashmobile! I had one of those, too. Kept me entertained for hours.
Me and my brother each had one. HOURS of play per day. Lasted over 2 full years before total destruction. It was a good investment from my parents.

@@brianstratton8767 - I think that's what it was - I just saw a commercial on youtube. Now, How Wheels: my brothers and I enjoyed them a lot. I remember when they came out. Fun watching them do the "loops" in those tracks, and making the tracks weave over/under/around sofas/chairs/"console TV"/etc. Lots of fighting between us over who would get which new car. I have to say, next to Hot Wheels, Matchboxes were kind of boring.

due to their immense weight and lack of friction (which is what makes them so efficient) large freight trains can have a stopping distance of at least a mile, possibly more depending on the configuration, and they will plough through anything sitting in their way. people really need to learn this

The second clip starting at 0:23 is scary. The Hudos truck is shoving a car forward and crushes it, driving it under a stationary truck, which is lifted off the ground. Anyone inside is unlikely to survive. Then more trucks pile in.....
I couldn't believe the car that had the windscreen totally covered in snow. Some of these are quite frightening. You could go out the door one day and not come back through no fault of your own.

When I lived in Chicago once in a while I would be behind a car that never cleaned the top of their car off from snow. Accident waiting to happen once that falls off..Some idiots just will clean their windows knowing once they get going fast enough the wind will blow of the rest not thinking about traffic behind them !
this makes me so angry when they do this. a friend had her windshield smashed when some dickhead did that ..got onto a major highway and the snow that had hardened to ice flew off and smashed into her car. luckily she wasn't injured but it was completely avoidable. the guy drove off like nothing happened.

Indeed. It happens every day.
An important thing I learned with driving is that people doing crazy things on the road may not always be because of aggression. It could be that they're having a medical episode, that they got a call with their child, parent, sibling, sick or hurt, etc, so it's best to just relax, put your ego aside, and give way to a "crazy" driver. It can save you and others a lot of grief.

Was once caught in heavy traffic. A car behind me was weaving between lanes to cut queue. He got past me. Few moments later, he somehow caused an accident and climbed up a curb and got stuck. As I passed him, I wound down my window and told him that he can't park there and left. I have zilch sympathy for morons.

I'm 62 from Boston, I drove a semi for years, been driving cars and motorcycles since 1975, back then roadrage wasn't really a thing, people in general were nicer, little by little more a holes are on the streets, I'm glad I don't drive much anymore, too much hassle and traffic. Good luck.
Unfortunately, no psychological test is necessary to get behind a licensed killing machine. All governments care about is the licence fees and vehicle registration revenue they get with each new driver/car etc on the road. Even those convicted on several separate road rage offenses are still allowed to drive and retain their licenses. All about revenue, road/people safety is a secondary issue.
