- The most successful freestyler of all time, Norway's Erlend Fagerli, announced his retirement from competitive Freestyle Football after the end of the 2023 season. In order to pay tribute to his extraordinary legacy, this video was aired right after his victory at the World Freestyle Football Championship held in Nairobi, Kenya, on November 25th, 2023.
The clip features the testimony of legendary freestylers such as Boyka Ortiz, from Colombia; Laura Biondo, from Venezuela; Philip Warren Gertsson, from the Philippines; Caitlyn Schrepfer and Patrick Shaw, from the USA; and Jesse Marlet, from the Netherlands.

What a way to retire as a legend! When Brynjar left last year I told people that Erlend will soon stop too, their high level comes from training together and goes to show you how much having a consistent training partner help! It’s rare in our individual sport but these 2 proofed the level it gets you to, congrats both on an incredible career 🫡

No doubt he is the best in terms of competition. No one else has such a consistency, great strategy and always a way to looks fresh on the stage. Feel sad for Brynjar tbh.
