Excellent overview Logan, but the driving is clutch, as always! Little jealous I didn't go for the tennis ball green color!
I just canceled my Redcat Ascent 1/10 Blue with Horizon Hobby. Been 2wks with no response from them. The Vanquish Stance is a back order item but worth the wait. Anxious to start rock crawling but patience will pay off. Thank you for your review.
I picked up a grey one and started a log book. very impressed. i did vent my tires after first run and swapped the wheel nuts to traxxas flanged.
Now to wait for the carbon vs stance video😂
@@YNOTRCI’m not a pro by any means. Actually I’m a complete Ametaur but if your on the fence of the vrd rtr and kit. Get the kit. We all know if you got the rtr you’d be modding it anyway :)
Vrd kit still better. You gonna pay $70 extra for this and still have to replace all the electronics. Though the dual stage foams make a compelling argument 🤔
The way you put the video together was just as impressive as the truck. Great job Logan, from the comments I read I see a lot of folks getting great information on how to be a better driver and the more technical aspects of line choice/truck placement, tuning etc..
I enjoy the vibe from the WDW team.
Have a great 2024.. cheers 👍🇦🇺
Thanks this one definitely had more work and effort put into it so thanks for the compliment. I’m glad people are enjoying what I do and awe they learn from it
Another great review. Being relatively new to rc ive learned huge volumes of info with parts setup, truck setup, and and increased my driving ability due to your vids alone. I thank you for every vid you have and look forward to more. Thanks a lot my friend
Killer review! Love that you did this in the work shop and gave a thorough walk through - more like this, please! 👍
Thank you for the review Logan
Great video and explanations about the features!!!
That’s a impressive RTR🎉 keep’em coming
I’m getting excited because companies are finally making some great RTRs both small and big for those wanting a good solid rig out of the box. Great review, with information, run time, and your opinions and comments. Now to get this or the kit 🤔
Solid review, well done! This thing looks to be a killer. 👍✌️
Great video Logan. Thanks.
Great video Logan, Just left the V-Live and came to check out what you had to say about it. Impressive Truck for sure... Thank You...
Sick truck Logan thanks for the video, I'm getten one.
Great review video. Makes me think about purchasing one of these trucks
This looks very nice for a beginner lcg crawler.
Nice to see a quality tire….the size of them
lol like they helped hobby drop…that was crazy cool of you to let him this too!!
You are the master of trailing and chatting!!
Dude this thing is sick!!! I hadn’t heard anything about it until this video…..dang…I need this thing 😂 also, love the dumpster!
Awesome in depth review! I had kinda had my heart set on the Fordyce, but this is a compelling offering from Vanquish. Thanks.
Both are great depends if you want a trail truck or a performance truck.
Best Video review here thanks for a great video
This is a really cool looking and great performing truck! Definitely going to pick one of these up!
Great video!!
Looks like a solid rig. To bad they didn't have this when I started. Lol
Its time for rtr's that run out of the box like this one...good work Vanquish👌
Vanquish doing Vanquish things! Solid review dude🔥🤙
Thanks for watching dude! I bet you could get it to do some wild lines in your area
Been running a similar spec, chopped c-channel, lightweight Phoenix out here a bit..not too shabby🤘
You’re sneaking an extra percent in there cause 6+17 is 23 over here in Tennessee. Lol
Great informative video as always and glad to see you are included in the small group of receiving trucks early to review.
I jumped into to the live release late today and was like wtf?!?!?! Their sight wouldn’t even take my order! …so I jumped over to amain and got a few xtra points for myself! …..I still have a VRD carbon in my closet to build!! I couldn’t help myself! Glad u did this review man!
Thanks I was curious what it's about.
Nice body and performance 👌 😍
Happy new year 🎉
Nice work, Logan! It would be interesting to me to see the Fordyce head-to-head with the Stance.... just to see what the gap exactly is for these RTRs. I know they are different beasts, but, still 😀 Cheers!
i ordered mine
Sounds like a great rig. How does it compare to the Capra if one was to add 4ws? (Assuming that is even possible)
Nice to see this come out but the rebranded 1060 esc is a big miss on a performnce rig RTR or not.
I wonder how a capra would like the VRD parts
Will this make the same lines as the carbon kit with the same tires?
They need to make a builders kit for this for sure and I mean with the aluminum chassis not the carbon
Hmmm the kit is upgraded in many ways. Interesting to hear you want that.
@@westdesertwheeler2666 just thinking they might be able to sell it at a lower price
Got the carbon kit it's almost as good as my berg moa waiting for the under axle servo mount no hills in Texas lots of lakes with rock
I need help on reversing the steering mine goes backwards
What is better the Vanquish or the Redcat Acsent with Tires and Fusion Pro Upgrade?
What Battery do you use for that crawler ?
Awesome vid! I have a semi built out Phoenix, but have really been thinking of the carbon and outfitting a rig that way. Now I have a 3rd option with this video. Option #1. Stick with my Phoenix and kit it out more. #2. Build out a carbon. #3 Build out a Stance rig. Pretty new to RCs, so any advice or recommendations are always welcome.
If you want the most performance the carbon is the answer. If you don’t want to build a kit the RTR is a great start.
this could be the perfect truck for a class 2 spec class
Great video. Love the truck. Does anyone know how much this truck is going for? I’d like to add this to the fleet
Great information. But I have questions: transmission and portals have overdrive compared to what? Front to rear tire rotation? Overdrive is simply a higher gear. I'm not understanding exactly what you mean by this. Are you saying that the internal gearing in the transmission is different front to rear. Different portal gearing front to rear? Also, the steering gear is mounted on the front axle, the front bumper is not as wide as the windshield, so does this mean it's a class III RTR straight out of the box? Great channel dude. I would sure like to crawl with yawl out West. Nothing but love from the East.
You understand overdrive, it is overdriving the front tires in relation to the rears and it works as you guessed. Different ratios to each. As far as the bumpers from what I understand class 1 mandates bumper to be windshield width and class 2 must be wider than the chassis so I think this is legal
Just getting back into rc crawlers again and don’t know we’re to start just moved to St. George
I’m not advocating for this rtr but in my experience when my normal larger in O.D lower links become my high center point of no forward drive or being ejected left to right I wish for a smaller diameter link. I personally like 1/8” diameter solid rod tap and die 8/32 with a traxxas rod. Easy to bend for hi clear ore they will banana in shape over time which is nice, so the rod is more capable in the trade off of strength but meh.
I understand that the parts price is far superior in the kit but I’m with you in the amount of over/under being to much so for me I don’t even care about the machined gear set up. Probably have to set aside some money for the machined ring and pinion gears as these are powdered metal. I’m liking this a lot. But I already have a scx10ii. Based rock pirate interceptor build and a half built toyzuki v2 j have never tried.
I enjoy Matt's video also but that terrain you have Logan geesh sets a tone
Where would a Servo Winch be installed?
You will have to get the servo mount from vanquish or come up with something
That dog is like 70’ tall.
17% + 6% = 23% ?
Lol close enough but, consider that the overdrive portals are getting a 6% boost going into the 17%
Second
Logan, Matt’s Off-road is looking for CZcamsrs to participate in the off road games…. I know you are just down the road from him.

Are the Ring and pinion gears on the stance sintered metal gears or machined metal?
