Good stuff as always - thanks for sharing and motivating some of us to get there. And I totally agree with your decision to stay on the safe side since you had your family, but I could tell you and your 4Runner were itching to get up that hill. Keep at it Desert Raised!

Thanks buddy, I hope some of these reach the right people and help open up some new doors to different locations. I always try playing it safe now days, but if I had a friend along there wouldn’t have been a second try thought about continuing

Wonderful. There’s two Grapevine Canyon Trails within less than 100 miles. Never heard of this one though. Have to check it out once hell recedes in the fall. I wonder if there’s a natural tank buried under all the sand at the end of the canyon.
