Joe is being weird about his baby's gender because he has this weird thing where he wants to "protect" girls from bad people. I think he's afraid that his son is gonna turn into a version of himself. He always tries to justify his own doings but let's be real, if his son would turn out like him and do exactly what he's doing, Henry would be the bad guy lol

this and also he almost killed love, during that time all that saved her is idea of girl baby, so he was also fixated of that and felt lied to when boy was born as surprise

for me, this episode really showed how you cannot compare Joe and love while both are bad people love is only triggered to kill when it’s for someone she loves. ( like her brother ) Joe is an actual creepy tampon Stealer , he may pretend it’s to protect the girls but it’s to isolate them from everyone but him.
I mean Joe is more gross but you definitely can compare Joe and Love considering they both kill people with thinking it’s for good enough reasons or when things don’t go their way

Except we have SEEN Joe try to change, we see him regret things, we SEE him protect innocent people including children like Paco and Ellie. Love doesn't care about things like that.

Gonna tell you guys this now because the show never mentions it or really alludes to it, Love didn’t lie that Henry is Joe’s kid, it’s really Joe’s kid. The reason why he doesn’t connect with him easily is because he wanted a girl to protect, not a boy who can turn out like him.

I love Nathan! He’s literally my favorite person on here. He’s logical and he’s seeing the shit wayyyy before it comes out like with love in the last season . I also get the others kind of, sort of, not completely but acknowledging it all makes more sense to me. I love the actress playing Love, she’s amazing in every role she’s been in.

Ok I recently started watching you guys and I'm not d**k riding but Nathan is completely right like 98% of the time, I commonly see that when you guys argue on a topic or two a lot of times you guys contradict and back track on your statements which is hilarious but you guys are the definition of funny. (I do want to note that I didn't care for Natalie either but she was crucial for what was bouncing aboard the ship.)
