Anime fans are pretty small niche people really even today. Let alone knowing one particular song, from one particular anime movie.
@@MrZachgonz When I was a kid, it seemed that hardly any adults knew about anime. Now I'm in my early thirties. A good number of people in my age group watch at least some anime. Many of them have kids. It makes me think, wow. Kids these days actually have parents who watch anime. That wasn't how it was when I was a kid.
I feel like with each passing generation, anime gets more popular. We're not there yet, but slowly but surely it's becoming mainstream.
The name of life tune always destroys me. Always... It is the anthem of my love for Japan!
