Introducing My Alligators For The First Time!!!

- The wait is FINALLY OVER!!! Today we introduce Soni and Chompers, my two rescued American Alligators. Both alligators have been separated their entire lives due to their large size difference. Soni, our male alligator, is much larger at 10 feet. Chompers, our female, is smaller around 8 feet. She also has a really small head compared to Soni's MASSIVE one! For years they have been separated in the Alligator House by a barrier under the Alligator Bridge. Recently, we replaced the barrier with a GATE! (Check out that alligator video if you haven't already 😊) Tomorrow, we lift the gate and introduce them together for the FIRST TIME! I rescued both alligators at a very young age, and have had Soni for 18 years and Chompers for 15 years. These alligators are like my children, and to be honest I'm a little scared to introduce them. So I invited my friends, Savannah Boan and Danny from Gatorland Orlando and @gatorlandvlogs to come and help with the Alligator introduction. Savannah and Danny just introduced two Saltwater Crocodiles and things got a little CRAZY 😱 Will Chompers and Soni get along? Will there be an alligator fight? What happens if he hurts her? Or worse...tries to kill her? Watch as we make history in the Alligator House and introduce the two alligators for the very first time!!!!

I was so stressed watching chompers try to go back to her side of the pool. I was getting sad and was yelling “just let her back in”! I understand though that has to happen. I am glad they became friends so quickly and seem to be very happy. What a success!!!

You’ve basically raised both of these alligators since they were babies. Yeah, I would be a little bit nervous about one of them hurting each other. They’re big animals they’re big reptiles. You’ve done a great job raising them. They’re absolutely gorgeous.🎉

@@glaxingsmoothsubmit doesn’t mean just for fighting specially in the animal kingdom most species has to go through this stage where one has to submit and become the alpha normally the male but can sometimes be the female again depending on the species

Well, I didn’t think this introduction would make me cry, but I guess I’m just a sentimental old lady that loves animals. So happy for Corbin that he finally realized his dream of uniting the alligators. And I know he was so excited to finally touch Soni on the head. Thank you Savannah and Danny for helping with this project. I’m sure Idaho was a different environment compared to Florida. Thanks to everyone involved in this journey. I hope Soni and Chompers have a long happy life together. Love and hugs from Tennessee. 💕🐊

Im excited! That went WAY better than i thought it would. But they seem to enjoy one anothers company once they got used to one another. But there wasnt aggression, which is great. And they seem to enjoy, especially Soni, having a companion ❣️ so i look forward to videos of these two & their friendship blossoming, and being able to share their pond 🙏

At the end my heart melted seeing the two alligators, my exact words were “the alligators are so cute” 🥹😍 like not just together but as individuals. I showed my mom and she can’t understand why I get so starry eyed over them
